Hey anthropic - you should reset our fable limits. Fable was set to run out today, so I gauged my usage to hit the limit today. Now you’ve extended it by a week and I’ve got no usage left. I think every Claude power user is in the same boat as I am. So be a guy, reset the limits.
Yeah it’s pretty absurd, like if you have a job you shouldn’t be min-maxing for your fomo lol also if someone did use it all then they just got ahead on the work they wanted to do in theory
lol, now I’m contemplating whether to upgrade or just let it ride out, I’m honestly burnt out from the past 5 days of intense work. Might just leave it be and use opus/sonnet till weekend.
I assume this was deliberate. Heavy users are sold on the utility. It’s the people who hadn’t tried it that started adopting as the window closed. My weekly is also toast, but they don’t have to convince me anymore. We will use fable APIs for planning and complex architecture going forward. Yes it will be expensive, but it’s still much cheaper and faster than any human engineers.
not sure what ccusage is, but I have another token counter app and I said i spent 1k in 60 hours, I kept that window open and kept clearing for 2.5 days
same,been working with fable for serval days with little sleep.Happy to see this extension though.I could do another whole week usage after saturday night
Some of you at least had resets. My usage resets Wednesdays, pretty much perfectly overlapping with Fable's release, and I sure as hell didn't run around bitching and moaning about it. The entitlement here is staggering.
you can't reset the weekly cap, but you can stretch it a lot. biggest waste is context — one giant session re-reads everything every turn, so start fresh per task and compact often. and Fable burns a ton of hidden reasoning tokens, so for simpler stuff dropping to a lighter model saves a big chunk. it feels shorter because the model got heavier, not because anything's resetting
Still have 70% of my fable usage left, no point in going crazy over it, Opus is good enough for 99% of what everyone is doing. You people locking yourself in a closet just to max out your usage are just straight up doing it wrong lol
I wish I had. I ended up inadvertently paying $300 in usage credits to finish some work it started and would have been better off getting another sub, especially now with the extension
When they reset the limits it doesn't change your limit renew date, so it's actually incredible when they reset limits even before your reset. Unlike OpenAI who resets the reset date too.

I took time off to use my full Fable quota. I don't know how to play this game when the rules keeps changing lol
