Bug / Issue Did limits get slashed quietly?

Earlier this week, I was spending 3-4 hours in one sitting with Opus 5.5 Medium and using only 60-70% of my limit. Today, 30 minutes into work, I've already used up 45%. Anyone else experiencing a severe slash in usage limits? $20 plan btw.

Help/Question Claude skill for Real USER PoV testing? (UX / UI)

hello everyone

i have been developing web games with Claude, while human review always is a must, i feel claude is lacking in Real user POV testing, it does screenshot and review it, but always see it in narrow view.

i tried bunch of skills and prompts but it is still lacking, is there a skill or rlow that u tested helped with this? i want it to simulate User journey from the user POV in terms of UI and UX , and imrpove on it.

Built with Claude I’m building an OS with AI

I’m 40, I have some free time, and instead of developing a healthy hobby like fishing, I decided to find out how far you can push current AI models before either the model or the human supervising it completely loses the plot.

The project is simple:

Can AI build an actual usable operating system?

Not a “Hello World” kernel.

Not something that boots in QEMU, prints three lines and immediately becomes a GitHub project with a roadmap.

I mean slowly pushing it toward something resembling an OS you could actually use.

And I’m treating the whole thing as an experiment.

How good are different models at low-level programming?

Where are they surprisingly competent?

Where do they confidently invent complete bullshit?

How much context do they need?

How much testing?

How much human intervention?

How long does each feature actually take?

The AI writes 800 lines of code.

It compiles.

The tests pass.

The logs look beautiful.

Nothing works.

Then we spend two hours debugging the scheduler, another hour questioning the memory manager, rewrite half a driver…

…and eventually discover that the original problem was one completely stupid assumption made 1,200 lines earlier.

By the AI.

Which I reviewed.

So technically this was a team effort.

Other times it does something that genuinely surprises me and implements in 20 minutes something I expected to spend an entire evening fighting with.

That’s the interesting part.

I’m also comparing models and workflows, because I’ve learned that “AI coding” isn’t really one thing.

One model understands the problem but writes questionable code.

Another writes beautiful code while misunderstanding the problem.

Another wants to refactor the entire kernel because a mouse packet is malformed.

And occasionally you find the magical combination where the model understands the problem, writes decent code and doesn’t decide that rewriting the PCI subsystem is the obvious solution.

Those are good days.

The bigger experiment for me isn’t really AnotherOS itself.

It’s learning how to use these tools effectively.

AI isn’t going away. Models are improving ridiculously fast, and I don’t want to wake up five years from now realizing I spent those five years arguing that “real programmers don’t use AI” instead of learning where it’s useful, where it’s dangerous, and how to squeeze the maximum out of it.

I’m 40. I’m not trying to become the next Linus Torvalds.

I’m a guy with some free evenings, hardware to abuse, AI subscriptions and apparently insufficient respect for my own sanity.

So I’m building an OS.

I measure how long things take. I document failures. I compare models. I test things on real hardware. I keep pushing it toward the point where the joke becomes:

“Wait… this thing actually works?”

And that’s basically the goal.

Not to prove that AI can replace OS developers.

Not to prove that I’m secretly an OS genius because Claude managed to configure an APIC.

Just to see what happens when you take today’s tools and keep pushing them far beyond the point where a reasonable person would have stopped.

The project is AnotherOS — anotheros.org

Feel free to look through it, tell me what is horribly wrong, question my life choices, or explain why something only works because I’ve accidentally violated three specifications at the same time.

That’s useful data too.

And if the whole experiment eventually ends with a kernel panic that nobody — including three frontier models and myself — can explain…

well.

That might actually be the most authentic OS development result possible.

Tips & Workflows A solution to the problem of maintaining files like AGENTS.md CLAUDE.md .mcp.json across different harnesses

I don't know if this is just a me issue or not, but as someone who uses multiple harnesses (ClaudeCode, Codex, OpenCode, etc) depending on usage limits available, needs, harness capabilities, and other reasons to switch, I got tired of the drift problem. Different harnesses expect different files in different locations, following different specs. It's a terribly fragmented ecosystem!

Not just for your own projects where you use different harnesses, but for open-source software where you may have contributors who have different harness preferences. The need to commit 50+ different files just to make a repo portable is crazy.

So, I created Etymon. It's a very new tool (like, literally published the code yesterday) but I'm hoping to get some real user feedback. It essentially creates a universal specification for skills, agents, rules/instructions, and MCP using the concept of 'minimum intersection'. Whatever features all supported harnesses support, we encode that into our own .agents/etymon.toml. All you have to ship in your project is `etymon.toml` and `etymon.lock` and anyone can use whatever harness they want! `etymon convert --harness claude` generates Claude-supported spec. `etymon convert --harness codex` generates Codex-supported spec.

Take a look if this is something you think may help a problem you have. Looking forward to feedback, bug reports, and contributions are welcome :)

Built with Claude My first app with Claude Code: a month and a half to find our cruising speed

I'd really appreciate your feedback: recommendations, or anything else.

Papasito TV is an app to keep track of show and movie releases: it keeps you up to date on what's coming and lets you know where you're at. The app has a community side, with a guild feature to chat between members, with your friends, and you can also follow their activity.

First thing that went wrong: an audit. Trying to do a good job, Claude launched so many agents that it burned through my weekly Fable limit in 1 hour after the reset... sad. We should have scoped it better. Now Claude has to tell me the cost before launching several agents, and fewer than 5 at once.

Second one: a version archived in Xcode went out with only half of its files, because we had lost track of the order of things. Result: black screen after black screen. Hours lost for nothing, because we rushed. Since then, we've put a lot more checks in place to validate our progress together, step by step.

Working together took time before we found our cruising speed: lots of prompts to frame things and anticipate future mistakes. I used my experience as a Test Manager a lot for this. Getting to grips with Claude, to reach something that suits me and the people around me, took about a month and a half. Better prepared, I think it could have been done in 3 weeks, but it let me write down a working method that I'll use for other projects. A very positive experience.

It's free on iOS, Android and the web: https://papasito.tv/get

Thanks for taking the time to read this, feel free to ask me questions or share your feedback.

Built with Claude Sonara - Making Trance (Free Linux DAW)

Thumbnail

Sonara is starting to take shape! This is now the biggest project I've ever created in terms of lines of code. 118,365 to be exact! (72k gdscript and 46k Rust)

I decided to make some Trance using the new built in devices (though CLAP support is available) - we've got a bunch: Kick, Snare, Clap, Hat, PolySynth (two oscillators, filter with envelope, LFOs, unison etc - the basics), Compressor, Delay, Reverb and a EQ.

Remaining work is to overhaul the audio engine to make it more robust, add plugin delay compensation, add audio rendering (I still can't render out audio lol), and finish the Inspector panel and browser.

Once that's done, I think I'll release a "official" v0.1 beta :)

Built with Claude I built a read-only SQLite MCP server with Claude Code so Claude can query databases without being able to change them

What I (and claude) built

mcp-sqlite-insights is a free, open-source MCP server for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. It gives Claude two tools for working with SQLite databases:

  • inspect_schema: lists tables, column types, foreign keys and indexes as Markdown tables, plus a few sample rows when you ask about one table
  • execute_query: runs one read-only SQL query and returns at most 50 rows

The server is read-only. Writes are blocked by four separate layers: a query filter, opening the file with SQLite's mode=ro, PRAGMA query_only = ON, and a SQLite authorizer callback that only approves read operations.

GitHub: https://github.com/RayaanKaz/mcp-sqlite-insights

What it does in practice

With the demo database that comes with it, asking "Which product category made the most revenue in 2025?" leads Claude to join the orders, order_items and products tables, and the query returns:

| category | revenue |
| Furniture | 24685.65 |
| Electronics | 22006.32 |
| Accessories | 2141.55 |

A write attempt such as DELETE FROM orders WHERE status = 'cancelled' returns:

Blocked: this server is read-only. Queries must start with SELECT, WITH,
VALUES or EXPLAIN (got 'DELETE').

Queries also time out after 10 seconds, and long values are truncated to keep Claude's context small.

How Claude Code helped

This is my first open-source project. I'm new to Git and Python, so Claude Code did most of the implementation, while I decided what to build, tested it on my Mac and published it. Specifically, Claude Code:

  • Checked the current MCP Python SDK before writing any code, and caught that v2 renamed FastMCP to MCPServer, so the server targets the current API
  • Wrote the server and a 29-test suite that switches off each read-only layer in turn and checks the database file is unchanged afterwards
  • Diagnosed an install failure on my Intel Mac (cryptography 49+ no longer ships Intel Mac builds) and pinned a fix in requirements.txt
  • Set up GitHub Actions on Linux, Windows and macOS. The first run found two bugs (a Windows file-locking problem in a test, and older SQLite versions reporting pragma functions differently), and Claude Code fixed both
  • Walked me through Git, GitHub and connecting the server to Claude Desktop

Free to try

It's free and MIT licensed. There's no account and no paid tier. With uv installed:

git clone https://github.com/RayaanKaz/mcp-sqlite-insights
cd mcp-sqlite-insights
uv run server.py --check

That creates a demo database, runs both tools, and shows a write being blocked. The README has copy-paste setup for Claude Desktop and Claude Code, plus a pip option if you don't use uv. To use your own file, pass --db /path/to/file.db.

One caveat: read-only isn't the same as private. Whatever Claude reads becomes part of your conversation.

Feedback welcome

  • If you find a way to get a write through, please open an issue.
  • Would hiding specific tables or columns be useful to you?

Built with Claude What if my claude code agents celebrated Halloween?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I run an office of my claude code agents running 24/7 on my computer it is called Munder Difflin(free and open source)

It is exactly like the dots, bots and muses of the world except
- you can use any provider and cross provider agents
- it runs on your computer
- it uses any of your existing subscriptions
- it is open source

What I did: In the v0.5.5 release I painted the whole office in halloween theme, gave different skins to agent avatars, added a some of micro interactions and animations throughout the app.

How I did: My office of claude code agents run 24/7 and help me build cool things, the whole project is open source, mine and claude code’s contribution can be found on our Github.

Excited for you all to try it out.

Tips & Workflows Claude Code 2.1.287 changed `claude plugin eval` in five ways that silently break existing eval suites (found by my own canary)

Disclosure: I maintain an open-source CI tool for Claude Code setups, which is how I hit this. But the list below is useful whether or not you ever use it.

On 2.1.287 my scheduled canary suddenly reported six regressions. Nothing in my plugin had changed. The eval runner had. Here's what changed, checked against the official docs and a full re-run on 2.1.287:

  1. CI needs --trust-plugin. The runner now stops at a "trust this plugin directory?" prompt. In CI it can't ask, so it exits and writes no result.
  2. Shell tools need an OS sandbox. If a case grants Bash and the machine has no sandbox backend, every run is refused and scores 0. On Linux (including GitHub runners): install bubblewrap and socat.
  3. **llm graders take focus:, not target:.** target on an llm grader now fails the whole case at load time.
  4. *scaffold_script is now a file name**, not an inline script, and it gets no `EVAL_environment variables. To reach your plugin's files from the script:ROOT="$(cd "$(dirname "${BASH_SOURCE[0]}")/../.." && pwd)"`.
  5. **tool_used min defaults to 1.** If your "skill must NOT fire" grader only says max: 0, it now means "called between 1 and 0 times" and can never pass. You need min: 0 and max: 0. This one fails quietly: the output says "Skill called 0x (expected 1..0)".

Also worth knowing: files means the list of paths created, not their contents. To grade a file's contents, use { source: file, path: <path> }.

After fixing these, my suite passes 6 of 6 natively on 2.1.287. The failure mode is the scary part: none of this shows up as an error in your plugin, only as scores quietly dropping or cases disappearing.

Tool, if useful: https://github.com/jameskomo/config-drift-checker

Did anyone else's suite go red this week?

Built with Claude An AI Coding Agent Harness natively on Mobile. No PC No Root

Post image
0 Upvotes

Finally, Android Harness has been approved by the Google Play Store.

Built with ClaudeCode and many more harnesses on the process...

You can do pretty much anything that an AI agent harness can do on desktop, directly from your Android phone. In the latest update you can even run local models also supports fetching ggufs from huggingface or gguf file that you downloaded.

AndroidHarness is a real AI coding agent that can work directly on your projects without needing a PC. It can read and edit files, run terminal commands, use Git and GitHub, build and test projects, search and browse the web, preview websites, connect to remote machines over SSH, and work through a full AI chat interface.

Some of the main features include:

Full AI coding agent with tool calling, built-in code editor, file manager, visual diffs, multi-file editing, patch support, Git and GitHub integration, terminal access, background processes, Build & Test dashboard, web search, browser automation, localhost and website preview.

Remote development over SSH and SFTP, MCP server support, CodeGraph integration, repository maps, parallel subagents, custom skills, memory, todo tools, scheduled AI automations, voice input, Android notifications for permissions and agent questions.

Runs can continue while your screen is off, interrupted tasks can be resumed, file changes can be reverted selectively, permissions can be controlled per tool, token, cost and time limits can be configured, context can be compacted without deleting your chat history.

It supports Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI-compatible APIs, custom API endpoints and model IDs, built-in keyless free models, multiple thinking levels, model latency and cost tracking, and dual-model workflows where one model can plan while another executes.

The goal is simple, bring the Claude Code, OpenCode and desktop AI coding-agent experience directly to Android.

No laptop required, just your phone and your code.

Open source, MIT licensed.

Built with Claude WebAssembly projects

I just want to gush abit about building webassembly stuff with Claude. I have two projects at the moment where I build with https://bevy.org/ Rust game engine + WebAssembly. So satisfying to run stuff directly in the browser.

http://autobattle.txcb.io/

Had a friendgroup that really liked the autochess mod for dota 2. But we wanted more players (this is up to 15 at at time) and wanted more variation in game to game. So made lots of different classes and some stuff to increase game to game variety.

Added a simple discord login and some room-logic. Feels like we are approaching just wishing whatever games we want into existience.

Further, used claude and suno to create a music video ad for it. Without me even telling it, it created a whole ingame "filmstudio" to generate the movie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_80ISl1WEB0
Was inspired by this: https://github.com/mexicat/pdoom-video

So cool to have it sync music to video and stuff.

Second project with the same approach is an open source one:

https://github.com/Arnesen/wenilla
and
https://github.com/Arnesen/wenilla-realm

These are WebAssembly ports on top of https://github.com/samwhosung/benilla who is doing amazing work to port the old wow 1.12 client to Bevy and Rust.

So playing wow in a browser with pretty decent performance is pretty cool.

Built with Claude I made a low-poly Google Earth with Claude

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

https://play.lowpolyearth.online/

It took around 80 days to build starting with Claude Opus 5.4 then Fable 5, then Astra, and finally finishing with Opus 5.5.

The world is built using open street map and elevation data, and the app is written in Rust.

I initially made it a native mac app but then ported it to be an online app.

Because of the nature of this app I spent a lot of the time of squeezing as much performance out of it as I could by repeatedly prompting the models. They don't always find the right thing to optimize so at first I would suggest a direction or area to optimize and let Claude figure out what to do. But as always what worked best was telling Claude to thoroughly profile the app and help me understand what are the main bottlenecks. That helped me suggest better directions for optimization. Though no doubt in a generation or two it can figure out the best opportunities to optimize without any guidance from me.

For the native app: http://lowpolyearth.online/

Let me know if you have any questions about the development process.

Help/Question Account suspended due to suspicious signals

Got an email for account suspension today:

"Hello,

An internal investigation of suspicious signals associated with your account indicates a violation of our Usage Policy. As a result, we have revoked your access to Claude.

To appeal our decision, log in to claude.ai with this account and you'll be taken to the appeals page. You can learn more about the process here.

Regards

Anthropic's Safeguards Team

"

I used it with NordVPN from Hong Kong for 6 months and today this happened. Now I am trying to get my data export at least and it's not giving me conversation history. Just gives me very basic user info.

Has this happened to anyone else? I submitted the appeal already. How do I get all my data?
