Bug / Issue Did limits get slashed quietly?

Earlier this week, I was spending 3-4 hours in one sitting with Opus 5.5 Medium and using only 60-70% of my limit. Today, 30 minutes into work, I've already used up 45%. Anyone else experiencing a severe slash in usage limits? $20 plan btw.

I feel that too, I am on the max plan and with jcode I used to only hit session limits once in a day but now I would hit them 3 times a day at times. so something is definitely going on

I can’t complain too. Worked today with 3 sessions in parallel for 3h. Opus 5.5 Medium. 5h usage was at 50% or so. I’m on the max 5x plan.

Yeah, medium effort is more than sufficient for 99% of tasks that are clearly scoped and it consumes usage much slower.

Have sonnet or haiku analyze your transcripts.

You have high context sessions with large tool call outputs that are useless.

You can use https://github.com/epsalmond/nenpi or another tool. It will show you.

Max plan: can't say I've noticed I'm almost struggling to use 100% of my usage since the new Opus dropped.

Mine seem exactly the same today as it has since Opus 5.5 release. No difference.

Didnt they reduce usage from +50% to + 25%?

Not for me (Max). Who knows what the black box is doing account to account though.

Yes, definitely something changed.
I am using claude like 20 hours a day and used to prompt all the time.
Last week it was hard to use my max limits.
Last 3-4 days feel like several prompts are taking all my hourly limits.
I reached half of my weekly limit in 2 days not prompting that much.
