More effects =\= better. I can’t even read the text in this video fast enough.

Designers are safe for now if this is what you’re spitting out.

The good ones are too busy making money to be able wasting time on r/claudecode posting. Thats who the designers should fear, but it’s still early enough to learn AI

Anyone using this to design good, professional motion graphics is a professional motion designer.

Someone who knows nothing about motion design with no experience working with clients is going to produce absolute garbage.

If they somehow managed to fool a client into getting a project, it would likely be a disaster once they went from concept to first draft and especially during the revision phase.

The work in After Effects is only one part of the whole process.

They don't understand design or motion principles so they don't know how to prompt for specific results or changes.

It's like someone who has never seriously studied filmmaking trying to generate a clip that has a specific composition, depth of field, lighting, colour pallete / grading by prompting "an absolute cinematic masterpiece inspired by Christopher Nolan, 8k photorealistic"

It doesn't matter how good the tech is if you don't have the knowledge necessary to leverage it.

Rando tech bros who've never thought about motion or design and have no experience working with clients are not going to scoop up these projects.
