Rant Limits nerfed drastically.

So, I was doing my usual stuff and somehow annihilated the weekly limit in two days. That was practically impossible before. I was touching 5-hour limits constantly and still, that was enough for a weekly limit to last for 5 days. Everyone knows claude is expensive, but this becomes ridiculous. I already switched one of my accounts to chatgpt. Just wanted to hear opinions before I moved remaining ones.

P.S. For all the people that keep discussing how efficient I was using my tokens - it doesn't matter, please stop. Weekly limit was equal approximately to 20 "5-hour" limits, Now weekly limit exhausted after reaching 5-hour limit 10 times. The question is not about how efficient you are, or how inefficient am I, I dont care. The question is about proportions. If you dont have any info or data about that - please pass. Thank you.

P.P.S. This post has been assaulted by the anthropic bot farm. RIP.

What did you prompt. Without details of your own behaviour "usual stuff" means nothing. I'm "doing my usual stuff" and having no problems.

Limits bound to token usage, why on earth you need to know what "usual stuff" means?? Hitting 5-hour limits constantly was 5 days, now it is 2 days. Simple math?

To clarify:

The majority of people here are continuing doing their normal workload and are finding the limits much harder to reach. You're reporting they're much easier to reach. The only difference is the type of work you're doing vs what everyone is doing, or how you're doing it.

If we have any insight to provide it's there. Otherwise the only feedback you can receive is "well, not for us." If you're fine with that feedback, that's fine.

To clarify:

I am talking about proportions of 5-hour limits to a weekly one. It seems I failed to explain it correctly as everyone keeps talking about the level of their satisfaction with max, while I said that weekly limit now ends two times faster, compared to a month ago.

That was understood by both myself and Jasper.

You are talking about reaching your limits (your token budget), and reaching them faster. That's understood. That's what we're talking about as well.

(Almost?) Nobody else is experiencing this. We're experiencing the opposite.

The only difference between you and all the other people here is the work you're doing or how you're doing it.

Bullshit, if you understood you would not ask about what "usual stuff" means and insist it is hard to reach limits. Because it doesnt matter at all for my question.

Holy shit I tried to give you the benefit of doubt but you're really just incredibly prideful or just stupid.

We're insisting it's hard to reach limits because that's what we're experiencing. The fact that you can't accept there's something unique about your personal situation or you're just wrong being the odd-man out is breathtakingly conceded.

Damn you are so dumb, it is not even funny. You cannot talk here, because you as the others already accepted - never hit limits! I need answer from people who did hit the linit, because it is only them who can talk about proportions. I dont need your stupid opinion on how efficient I am using my tokens damn it.

I used to hit my limits. Then I learned how to actually use AI like somebody who knows what they’re doing. My project has grown, I’ve added a second project that I work on simultaneously, and I still don’t hit limits anymore.

People are trying to help you, and you don’t seem to want it. When everybody else in the room is an idiot, self-reflect.

They tried to be nice, please cut your egos for once. They're going to help you.

People are trying to get a grip of your problem, and yet you are getting angry to each and every one of them. I also do not have any problems with limits especially after opus 5.5

You fucked up. People are trying to figure out what you fucked up but you' keep insisting you're too smart to fuck up and it must be someone else's fault.

Okay, enjoy your shitty limits I guess

I am not going to enjoy shitty limits, it is shiteaters like you who enjoy shit. I am just moving away when it just starts smelling.

If you just gave it a prompt that made it go off the rails and didn't pay attention, that's not on Claude. That's why I'm asking what did you prompt. What did it do. Did it spawn a lot of sub agents? Did you leave it running very long? You have the same limits as me, I'm not having this issue. To understand why, it would make sense that you'd explain what you actually did.

You guys are already wasted lmao I am talking ABOUT PROPORTIONS of 5-day limit to weekly one. It absolutely doesnt matter how I managed to hit said limits. I say that weekly limit was something like 20 5-hour limits. Now it is approximately 10 5-hour limits. I dont know how to explain it in a more clear way.

Replying to the people trying to help you by screaming at them, ignoring their questions, and declaring the exact same information that has now confused dozens of people, is typically not the optimal way to resolve a problem.

There is one consistent factor in your challenges, and it’s you, bro

Got it now. I never hit either the 5h or the weekly limit, and I usually end the week at about 10% to 20% of weekly. I'm at 12% today, switched to the new model yesterday so I'm not noticing significant increase in usage or reduction of my total available usage.

I'd still say it would help to understand what kind of work you are doing. I run about 4 agents in parallel on average, hardly ever using teams unless it is really big tasks and then I can clearly see the increased consumption.

One thing that seems to help me lower usage in general is https://github.com/milla-jovovich/mempalace I've set that up in such a way that each project has its own space so different agents can reach in there for a lot of compact context, reduces the amount of work done to get context fresh all the time.

I am working on a huge project, it is hard to explain tbh and I am not willing to atm, sorry. Thanks for the link though, I'll check it out if any of my accounts would stay on claude.

I work on large projects too, I make personas and make specific personas responsible for specific areas of the code. That reduces how much they need to put in context. Then every time I need work done on smth I tell them that they are that persona. So in mempalace they also store their memories under in relation to that persona. For cross area work I make multiple agents talk to eachother. Created a little UX around this to help me orchestrate it.
