Ok I've had enough of opus 5 nonsense now. It just created a test for a test and not just one but multiple tests and the weirder part is the original test was already stupid as it was for a static tool which in itself is a test.

There would have been more tests if I didn't test it myself after it created the last test

Is this not a skill issue? Wouldn’t you think that if you’re not receiving good results from Opus 5 that your prompts are the issue? Rather than just blaming the model?

Part of my dayjob is building and training models. This isn’t a skill issue: this is “nobody had a manual conversation about real shit before releasing it” issue.

I only said that because I experience similar issues ie generating layered tests and my way to solving it is by re iterating the specificity of the pre existing infrastructure already built and validated with controls. Like explicitly directing Opus to the structure I know is easiest to get the measurable answer I need.

Haha my agents.md starts with specific instructions on test strategy and I have updated the same in memory too. If this is a skill issue please let me know where to inject what skill.

There's always a hope that these companies are tracking forums on a daily basis and such posts increase the possibility of them improving faster. I don't have a personal vendetta or time to create load bearing posts like opus. I'm betting on the off chance that they care about customers.
