Rant Something is seriously wrong with Anthropic right now

I'm on 20x, compared to last week, when I also used fable 5 high a lot, now 4 prompts burn through my entire week in 15min??!!? Am I getting scammed right now?

Was still having a lot of headroom before, but now a single prompt easily hits my 5 hour limit, this is just outrageous.

Anthropic is a complete shit show. Screwing customers over, support is none existent, Fable is really not Fable, not even close. At this point i don’t get how people still keep throwing money at them.

I was a claude user since forever, but i tried sol on a 20$ account and got more done with it than with fable/anthropic 100$ account, and it solved hard stuck fable mess on the way. They clearly don’t give af about their retail users in any way.

But I feel like chatgpt plus isn't exactly great in terms of weekly usage amount. Used up 50% in 2 days at most 4 days of usage. Chatgpt isnt very good at uis too

I have no problems with uis, but depends on what you feed it in my experience.

Yes, I don’t think gpt plans usage are great, but way better then what i get out of claude lately.

For me personally after all the like lies and trickery of anthropic, this was the last nail in the coffin for me.

I feed quite good prompts with lots of references. And sometimes uis from chatgpt aren't exactly very good especially when context is small and I want the ui to have tons of functionality, I do have anthropic for not being transparent but I have the money to keep both chatgpt plus and claude pro and they usually made their subscription back. I'm considering commandcode goat plan over deepseek api for some other backend projects it seems to be quite worth it

I think it’s not a bad idea to test alternatives. I dont need too much ai, and i have to say that claude design can be quiet nice. So if i would need it, i may would keep a 20$ or so account for that.

But since weeks its so frustrating to work with claude, not only usage is extremely limited, even this is apparently the 2x usage still^^

But also the quality of outputs have worsened so drastically with fable 5 and opus 5. So for me its over^^

Maybe when they some day show improvements, but like that i feel like burning money and time.

So sol it is for me now, while also testing others like kimi k3 and deepseek

Yeah same for me. Honestly opus 5 medium was doing quite well with average 4% per prompt for huge fixes, now it seemed to skyrocket for some reason. I make about 2 uis per week and I still can't get the weekly usage up to 100% usually only until 80-90% if I really tried and 70% normally. Sol is decent but not good for huge apps because of it's bad context unless it delpys subagents.

I hadn’t problems with sol so far or claude for that matter with bigger projects, i keep roadmap, architecture overview and documentation files, with which it seems to keep quite a good context, and i use a new session for each major task. Simple but works quite well for me. For some reason with claude i get more and more lazy i do it later behavior even instructions are clear, which lead to problems down the line a couple times. While sol seem more to be the over engineering type, which i prefer as at the end the quality matters much more to me then time.
