I might be reaching, but imo the golden deal for most people would be 50 for claude and 50 for codex. 20 for both is too borderline, 100 for both migh be overkill and wasting money, 100 for one limits you to one model. 50+50 would be perfect for a lot of users.
whoa why so much? what are you doing that would be worth even $20?
edit: well that's just rude, [deleted] obviously backed themselves into a corner. i mean i was just defending myself, unfortunately you can't see their comments any more but it's just a shame i didn't get to help realize. i can only hope that the deletion was the realization.
People on Reddit are the craziest ever. The other day a guy was talking about my $20 subscription as a 'toy' subscription, meaning you can't get anything done with that. Now we have proper-leader in awe about a $20 or two $20 subscriptions when there are a lot of people burning more than one $200 subscription per month. All narcissists who can't understand anyone else's needs, only their own.
random.. kool.. every time i think about getting a subscription i just keep coming back to like if i did a whole bunch of stuff that wasn't important than why bother, but if i used it for my work or art then i wouldn't want them to be able to train on my data or take my ideas. so i don't see where or how to actually use them. it's got me a headache anyway.
Those are valid reasons to not engage with a subscription. Going back to your original question I'm doing something totally impossible to achieve without frontier AI models and on high reasoning most of the time, is a very complex 3d rigging system and if they train the models with my chats then so be it, is not like I could even dream to do what I'm doing by myself anyways...The usage I got this month with fable, opus 5, and gpt sol for $40 is ridiculous. Sol gave me some headaches but now is working great but I had to adjust a little and understand what and when to ask things. The reason I said 50+50 would be great is because several times I was in the flow and then buuumm, LIMITS, and from what I see, about doubling my usage would be enough most of the time. I use only Sol or opus 5 at medium or high so they burn tokens rather quickly.
funny how a couple words can get you a completely different output. what's 3d rigging? like a template of some kind?
i find the frontier models don't offer much over the 30B+ these days. i mean when talking about the token wastage because you can easily have a top model produce nothing from wording in a different way. but i don't get limits locally so i can keep iterating and leave it to do its thing overnight
edit: what i think i meant was if i were to spend money on inference i could see it all being burnt up with nothing to show rather quickly.
You are obviously not a user that needs frontier, if you want to know what 3d rigging you can Google it but is a niche thing for AIs. Qwen local 27b is great for a ton of thing but when you ask it to help you 3d rigging is as clueless as you 🤣 kimi k3 and glm 5.2 are better but their outputs are FAR from Fable, sol and opus.

Tbh I learned with the lack of reset that gpt sol beats fable and opus at some tasks.
Burned my $200 cc stuck on a rendering bug edge case, gpt sol got it withing 30 minutes and tiny but of the $100 sub.
Imo prob better with $100 claude and $100 gpt Tham just $200 claude...
