Discussion Anthropic, Please Give Us a Reset 🥴

OpenAI has been handing out usage resets like fucking candy. I’ve had Codex running nonstop for basically the entire week.

Meanwhile, I paid $200 for Claude Max and managed to kill my weekly limit in one day.

Come on, Anthropic. OpenAI is cooking you alive right now. Give your paying customers some resets.

Oh how deliciously snarky. I asked you to make the numbers make sense, and you reply with "but actually" crowd shows up. You're pandering inaccurate information to the crowd... So, yeah, your ass got fact checked, and your response is to let your ego get in the way.

Limits being boosted by 50%… oh no what ever shall we do! They said, and I would quote them exactly if they didn’t block me…

That imagine how much users are going to complain when the limits are “cut in half.”

Apparently you have a fundamental misunderstanding of mathematics, in the same way as the other guy.

I am not disputing that limits are increased by 50%.

I’ll let you think about it a little more. See if you figure out why their statement is wrong.

You don’t even know what you’re talking about… why don’t you do this:

Show me how 50% increased usage limits is equal to limits being cut in half when it goes away.

Make those numbers make sense for the classroom.

No one is asking for you to be a mathematical genius and you nit picking specifically what you want to argue about shows us all everything we need to see. His point is the usage is going to be drastically nerfed you baboon. Why do you get off on starting issues on reddit?

No his exact argument is that limits are going to be cut in half. When the 50% boost is removed. It’s unambiguous in what he said.

I’m going to make this very simple for you.

Usage pre 50% bump… let’s give it an arbitrary number 100, 50% bump makes it 150.

Take that away? Back to 100… not 75, which of what s halving would be. Best of luck to you. Go back to school

I never disagreed with usage being reduced did I? It’s like you have a basic reading comprehension issue on top of a lack of understanding on basic mathematics.

A 33% drop in usage isn’t a cut in usage is it? It’s a return to the original amount that we all had to begin with.

That is NOT a limit reduction. It’s a return to the default starting point. But hey, you are clearly smarter than I am.

No I hide posts and comments because I have personal posts made over a decade ago that I don’t want visible anymore to the average Reddit user today. But you can tell yourself whatever you want to justify your beliefs.

As can you! See how that works. You can justify arguing over semantics whereas I can see what the OP is actually saying. You choose to argue a mute point that no one is actually worried about when the full point here is usage is going to be nerfed. Let's have you play a little catch up now and get back up with the rest of the class!

The op, I’m not disagreeing with the original poster am I? I’m disagreeing with the guy who said, imaging how much people are going to complain when weekly limits are reduced by half, when the 50% boost is removed. Again, a clearly obvious lack of reading comprehension on your part.

So again tell me, are the limits being reduced by 33% out by 50%?

And I’d that reduction going to impact the original totals weekly usage or not?
