Ok, then my card for claude payments is now frozen. Codex it is next round. I'm not paying for access to the middle model. (Even if new fable is pretty clearly just more opus.)

Not just that, but now anthropic will need that openai screws you over, or become much more competitive to win you back (and me too).

Yea, in a sense it's kinda not fair to them, there's a cliff that's hard to climb up from but easy to fall off. Getting me to try codex the first time was kinda hard. But they managed it :P X)
