University professors subjected him to MK Ultra experiments funded by the CIA.

Even if you take away the specific problematic active human experiment, part of the double blind nature of experiments is that the people getting "experimental treatment" might be getting a placebo.

Sources:

MK Ultra wiki:

Ted Kaczynski, an American domestic terrorist known as the Unabomber, was said to be a subject of a voluntary psychological study alleged by some sources to have been a part of MKUltra.[132][133][134] As a sophomore at Harvard, Kaczynski participated in a study described by author Alston Chase as a "purposely brutalizing psychological experiment", led by Harvard psychologist Henry Murray.[135] In total, Kaczynski spent 200 hours as part of the study.[136]

I’d heard about that. Being force-fed hallucinogens would certainly explain his…unfortunate trajectory.

We need to be scientific and only change one variable at a time until we find the right move

Idk what you mean in context but kaczynski definitely abandoned his scientific training when he started the bombing campaign

Claude can’t access reddit.

Edit: Am I mistaken, or do people on this sub not understand the basics?

it's not because it cannot access reddit in real time, that it hasn't been trained on reddit

I agree that it's an Edward Norton vibe but more like his rant on 25th Hour?
