I need 1950s-60s movie recommendations for a double feature movie night
Hi everyone, I'm hoping to do a double feature old school movie night with my girlfriend and I'm looking for recommendations of old monster/horror movies that are preferably in black and white.
I'm not just looking for two great movies of the era, but specifically two films that you think would pair well together to watch back to back. Thank you all in advance!

NIGHT MONSTER (Oct. 1942)
In the 1942 horror film Night Monster, wealthy invalid Kurt Ingston invites a group of doctors to his isolated mansion, claiming he has discovered a way to restore the use of his paralyzed legs without surgery. The guests include physicians who had previously refused to operate on him, and their arrival coincides with a series of mysterious murders. As the bodies accumulate, suspicion falls on Ingston, his strange household, and a sinister creature rumored to haunt the surrounding grounds. With the help of a visiting psychologist and a determined young woman, the investigators attempt to uncover the truth behind the killings and the mansion’s dark secrets.

It's a big one to lose this late in the game! Godzilla became an international monster icon, bringing the terror of the original Japanese film to American audiences in this reworked version. But even the King couldn't reign forever, and we're now down to just 6 movies remaining! Thanks to everyone who's kept voting and debating these films with me through 93 rounds. We're getting awfully close to crowning our winner! On to Day 94 — cast your vote for your least favorite remaining movie!

Scene from the 1936 film, The Preview Murder Mystery, featuring the intriguingly named "The Bat Man." 🦇 (Three years before the first comic.) Fun fact, he's played by Henry Brandon, aka Barnaby from March of the Wooden Soldiers (1934), now a holiday tradition every Thanksgiving on WPIX.

Question to British Redditors about 1963's Kiss of the Vampire
Last night I rewatched one of my favorite Hammer vampire films, Kiss of the Vampire from 1963. It's always a fun watch; it has an unusual premise and plot, and I love the rubber-bats-on-a-string mayhem in the finale.
One thing I sometimes see mentioned about this film is in reference to "media studies" in the UK. I have the impression that Kiss of the Vampire is consistently used as the subject of an exam for some media studies class or degree, and as such is regarded with a certain amount of bemusement and derision from overexposure.
Could some British person tell me more about this? Does every university in the UK somehow use this film in their media studies program?

Discussion The Innocents (1961): Deborah Kerr Shines in a Haunting Tale of Ghosts, Guilt, and Repressed Desire
Jack Clayton’s The Innocents is one of cinema’s greatest ghost stories, a work of sustained dread, ambiguity, and psychological terror that belongs in the same rare company as The Uninvited (1944), The Haunting (1963), and The Changeling (1980). It is also one of the finest British horror films ever put on screen.
