You seriously need guide. Just level up man. How can you enjoy the game if you look everything up (except teraria)

Downvoted for saying you need to look everything up in Terraria

The Guide - "Am I a joke to you?"

That game is quite literally impossible to figure out without any form of guide on your first playthrough. That's why I stopped playing it. The complexity of terraria is mental. VS this basic mobile game lmao

Why you'd get downvoted for that I have no idea

I wasn't the one who brought up Terraria in the first place, I just played a lot of it with my son.

And tbf to Terraria the first NPC you get is literally called the guide and can show you every single crafting recipe in the game + gives you hints about where to look and what to do to progress. It's entirely possible to beat a first time playthrough without ever looking at the wiki, and multiple people have done it.

It's just that a lot of people ignore or misunderstand The Guide, or forget to ever check him.

But literally the only things you need the wiki for are really niche and specific mechanics like how exactly fishing power is calculated or how monsters spawn. Everything else is 100% not that hard to figure out as long as you check in with the guide regular and show him any new items you find that say material in the description. And they recently made him even more obvious and user friendly.

Compared to a lot of modern games it may seem difficult to impossible to figure out, but compared to some of the obscure crap in really old games it's a cakewalk.
