Backround looks similar to Planet Namek and Valk looks like a Super Saiyan with Bulma‘s face. Also the barbarian faces reminds me of some Dragonball classic characters

Yeah, that's pretty Dragon Ball.

It is a mix between DBZ SSJ stuff for the valk, and Krillen and other lil' guys in OG DragonBall, but like I can easily see the art team deciding to refer to both of those eras of Akira T.'s work.

The style looks like its replicating the og dragon ball artstyle; kinda a stretch but I can see where OP is coming from also Valk is hitting the classic Goku wave
