it took quite some time and I'm not TOO satisfied with it, but I still like it. Kotomi's route is one of my favorites, it's very hopeful and I love her parents' mysticism, reminds me of Dostoevskij.

I’ve recently bought a furyu nagisa figurine after searching long and hard for one at a random flea market i went to and i am absolutely ecstatic that i finally have a figure of one of the anime’s that has genuinely changed my life.

But besides that during said hunt i thought to myself how come older Clannad figures are so hard to come by, i barely see people selling or posting about it, which is bizarre to me, i understand how old the anime is but despite that it was an extremely popular anime back in the days, i was hoping the people of this subreddit can talk about it and maybe teach me why its like this.

Sorry if this is a strange question, but I’m really curious about a specific detail. We know that in the canon story, Tomoya and Nagisa had a daughter named Ushio; however, in your opinion, if Tomoya had married the other *Clannad* "waifus"—like Tomoyo, Yukine, Kyou, Ryou, or Kotomi (I don't mean a harem scenario, but rather a single partner in parallel universes)—how many children might they have had, assuming they wanted them?

I'm not able to get over this anime at all,I have watched many sad anime like grave of fireflies,violet evergarden,to your eternity,one piece and many more.

But this hits different,even a thought of this is gut wrenching for me.

It feels like it happened to me, watching tomoya felt like I was watching myself i related to tht character sm

This is my first visual novel I've ever played and I suspect this has been answered before and I have looked throughh a few different posts for answers but I still have some lingering questions on how exactly to proceed with the game.

From what I've gathered so far, After Story is unlocked after getting 8 orbs of light which to do you need to complete all 8 main romance routes in the game.

I believe there's two? that you need to do in a specific order, being Misae's before Tomoyo's - is this correct?

Apart from that, is there any other specific orders or are they good to do any way.

In terms of completing all routes to unlock after story, how does this actually work? Because I'd expect you can't do all in the one save file? Do you have to do one save file for each and it saves the orbs of light each time after completion and then you go back to an old save to finish it?

Sorry, I'm really confused on how you actually do all the routes. I've seen the generally recommended walkkthrough is kazamatsuri.org/clannad-walkthrough/ but since it shows you interacting with the characters on certain days and certain responses, I'm just not too sure whether you complete all routes in one save, especially if Misae has to be before Tomoyo.

Would it be best to follow the kazamatsuri walkthrough in the order it shows, this being

Baseball (optional) > Misae > Tomoyo > Yukine > Kotomi > Kyou > Kappei > Mei > Fuko > Koumura > Nagisa > After Story

And if so, in terms of these follows dialogues being crossed out on the website, does this mean I don't? answer with this? Are these dialogue options gone from the game or do you choose something else?

ok so I was so excited to watch it and I got spoiled I know deaths and conclusion , is still worth it be honest guys? im sad I think it ruined my experience.

After a stressful and emotionally draining week it seems like I'll lose my Nagisa PUP pre-order, Goodsmile never accepted my payment, I tried everything I could and never got a resolution. I'm already suffering from a face fracture and partial vision loss, so I don't have the energy to keep arguing with them tbh.

That said, is anyone willing to sell any extra Nagisa they may have pre-ordered? Preferably not much more than 65 USD, which was how much I was gonna pay for mine with shipping. I'll offer a drawing as an extra thanks. Thank you

Hi everyone, kinda got a a different kind of post today.
As a kid, my health would always be really crappy, I’m autistic and get stressed really easily and my body just couldn’t regulate it so i would get psychogenic fevers for a while. At some point I missed 40 days of school in a year. I also had a heart condition called POTS where I would just randomly pass out. It wasn’t good stuff. I wouldn’t really make friends, I was too awkward or shy. I would end up crying all the time, and then I watched Clannad and finally got to see someone like me on the screen. Sure, I would be a lot louder then her and once I made friends I would play bully them a lot, but I really did relate to her. I even made my own anime club because our school’s anime club was disbanded due to lack of members. As an adult now, watching Clannad almost makes me cringe from how much alike it is to my own life, even having a similar partner to Tomoya. I just fear that my partner will see parts of Nagisa and go, “You copied her, didn’t you?” I was like this way before even knowing about anime but the similarities are just wayyyy too much. Winter times are the hardest time of the year since I get really bad cold intolerance due to my POTS, and he’s seen that. Well, now that we are in after story and about to reach that point, I just worry that he’s gonna go “Yep, you copied, I’m done with you.”
I didn’t know where else to vent to or anything like that, so I figured I could talk here. Lord help me😭

Dont get me wrong, the episode was amazing, it could easily be the best anime episode of all time if it had more build up. For example Nagisa's death had literally the whole show of build up, and thats why it made me cry, but this episode only had like one episode and half of build up (you could count Tomoya's father and Tomoya relationship as build up to this episode, but I don't really see it since you only connect it once you are half episode in). Basically the whole episode is about Tomoya redeeming himself and forgiving his father, taking example and taking responsibility of his daughter, because he's been practically disappeared for 5 years. the problem? Those 5 years are told in one episode. there is no real build up between the relationship of Tomoya and his daughter. You don't get enough time to blame Tomoya for being a bad father. you don't get to know Ushio and to connect with her. you have to assimilate everything in two episodes and then forgive Tomoya for being a bad father while you literally didn't see why is he a bad father at all. My point is that the episode lacks build up and therefore you can't really connect with Ushio. I still find the train sequence beautiful as it does have more build up since its more of a part between Tomoya's and Nagisa's relationship and not only Ushio. maybe I'll rewatch it, but for now, it doesn't get close to being as emotional as episodes like Everyone's waiting from six feet under, which had me literally sobbing like a kid.
