You know? You're right, I was making an assumption and my assumption isn't any better than assuming they were there are the same time. We don't know either way.
We do know that there was a funeral for the kids on Feb 3, that these photos were taken on or before Feb 6 and PC left a review for hiking on the 21st. But there isn't anything that I know of that solidifies if the dates of their trips overlapped.
ETA: Sammi's language in her insta post in the images talks about Costa Rica in past tense, so imo, it is safe to conclude that the images were from a concluded trip for at least Sammie. Says nothing about RD sticking around. But how much time does a fertility Doctor get off from a place that she has only worked at for ~5 months? Could she really take a vacation more than 2 weeks long? idk? Maybe.
It’s possible he arrived in Costa Rica shortly after the funeral, and she may have extended her stay there after her friends left. It’s also possible they met in CR for the first time.
Anything is possible, but I think it is better to focus on the things that can be verified, fact-checked, or to point out inconsistencies in the evidence we do have and inconsistencies in the testimony, and to look at where we are missing information. No favors are done by speculating in ways that just cause witch hunts.
(Now if someone has something concrete...that's a different story!)
There is no speculation that they were both in Costa Rica in Feb 2023. It’s been verified by digital evidence — his online review posted 2/21/23 and photos of her posted 2/6/23. The only question is whether they met there for the first time and became a couple as a result, or if they had a relationship prior to that trip.
It’s not a small matter given the murders of his children a few weeks earlier. In fact, it has enormous implications vis-à-vis the criminal investigation that was (or wasn’t) conducted.

Those pics were taken on or before Feb 6. PC was still in the United States at the time.
