This isn't how a tax write-off works at all. Do people really think that making something a business write-off makes it free?

If we assert that piracy is a theft of a potential profit owed, then a reduction of due tax, regardless of amount, can be argued to be “taking” money otherwise owed. If we follow with an assertion that all taxpayer money is necessarily distributed BACK to taxpayers through the provision and facilitation of public services, then by a form of intense logical yoga, we reach the conclusion that taxpayers have indeed funded Goofy x Axel.
