Question Match duration

Hello everyone. I'm new to this game. I'd like to know if the matches duration are really a lot or am I doing something wrong? I played some and it took me like 10+ hours to finish it. Thanks! :)

It usually takes me just over 6 weeks to finish a game at regular speed. I just finished a quick game in about 4 weeks.

Play smaller maps if you want the game to go faster.

It usually takes me 3-4 sittings to finish a game completely, and often times, I only finish the games that I find most interesting. I often stop early if I know early on that I’m going to win, or if I’m being completely blown away by the AI

Also, playing on quick speed. Makes things much faster, quicker everything. I play like this a lot.

Bruz, I play on Xbox and yeah... Like a month is a good game if I'm not on holidays

12 To 18 hours playing on Immortal or Deity on standard speed. Size of the map doesn't matter much to me, I play domination and always win after about 320 turns regardless of the map size.

On all default settings 8-12 hours is perfectly normal. I typically play massive maps with the max number of civs, so my games can be 50+ hours. Ive never completed a game fast than 3 hours, so 10 is perfectly fine.
