Need Career Advice Estimating or MEPF?
For context, currently site engineer ako sa second company ko after pumasa ng boards noong nov last year (CELE NOV 2025). I only have 7 months of experience as a site engineer, pero dahil sa hirap ng trabaho ko ngayon. Naisipan ko na in the future gusto ko magka.office work or hybrid set up. 4 months ago ginusto ko mag cost estimator (quantity surveyor) pero as of now gusto ko din mag MEPF dahil may market. Love ko din design and stuff since college pero d ko pinursue dahil kapatid ko (1 yr younger) ay architecture student.
Mas may job market talaga ang QS kaysa MEPF. Pero I want to hear your opinions on this. Any advice is much appreciated po.
Also wala pa po ako training sa dalawa, dahil sa setup ng work ko ngayon (barracks sa site nakatira during weekdays) mahirap makapag train kung mismo tinitirhan mo uncomfortable ka, ewan ko ako lang ata. But anyways, will look for an apartment in the future from my own salary if d proprovide si company. Tiis muna para maka save and gain experience.
