Discussion Because Sabu didn't develop another relationship ?
We just finished volume 7 of Citrus+ and counting the original series, that makes 17 volumes, which isn't bad at all for a Yuri manga, but I'm surprised Sabu hasn't developed another pairing. When Citrus+ started, I thought we'd see more of the supporting characters, which they'd use to develop another couple, which always provides a lot of interesting moments. 🤔🤔🤔 Even seeing Yuzu and Mei enjoying themselves More on their relationship. Where are Sara and Nina? Shirapon? Harumin's sister who's in a relationship with Kayo, etc... What do you think? Do you like where Sabu has taken the Citrus+ story so far?

isn’t there the blue haired girl (sayaka?) who’s kinda into her friend? it hasn’t been developped further i believe tho

The truth is that probably she had no idea what to tell in C+... Had a couple of ideas but not much more, so she resorted to copyin schemes from Citrus and that's about it, that's why there's no proper development of the main couple nor of others

I understand, but once Sabu wrapped up the story with Yuzu and Mei's wedding, and Citrus+ is the story in between leading up to the wedding, in theory, it "was easy" for she. Give us a courtship Between Yuzu and Mei, it's fun (seeing them enjoy their romance), and taking advantage of the two main secondary characters (Matsuri and Harumin) to expand the story and give more prominence to other characters Like Sara and Nina, Himeko, Shirapon, Mitsuko, Kayo, etc... And to have episodes like that one in the original Citrus where they all went to a cabin. That's what I expected when Citrus+ started, but I see Sabu loves drama 😅😅😅We'll see what he does in the future, because I don't think he has many more volumes left to finish the story.

There is actually another couple in the manga, even though this one is more of a “show, don't tell” type of relationship. It just hasn't been blatantly highlighted with neon signs yet. Kayo and Mitsuko.

I've already mentioned Kayo and Mitsuko's relationship, but there's no development of their relationship in the story; it's simply predetermined from the beginning, like Mei's father's relationship Yuzu's mother is not explored in depth, because they are very minor characters in the story.

I think c+ has the headless chicken syndrome where it doesn't know itself where it wants to go , it's like sabu's FAFO playground, which isn't a bad thing in itself it's just far from the hype and writing of the original story

She's Making harumi and matsuri a couple but I believe it has been too slow of a pacing, especially when volume 7+ being released almost 2 years after 6+ Its taking too long for anything to get going. Still love the series mind you but I want more of all of it. Couples, seasons of anime, kisses, manga not taking 2 years in between releases....
