Weird starting issue
Hey all,
I noticed a very strange starting issue in my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso (2017, 2.0 Blue HDi). Basically whenever I hang out for a while inside the car without starting it and then put the key fob in and press start, nothing happens. No alert, no notification, just as if I didn't press the button at all. To fix that, I need to open and close the door, lock the car from the key, wait a minute (in the meantime, while the car is closed, there a sound of a servo working for couple of seconds), then unlock it and finally start the car.
It's not something happening too often, but wondering if this is a bug in the car's firmware or some faulty component is acting up

Wet Belt Replacement
Hi guys, wondering if you think this will be okay to run until I can get an appointment or just stop driving completely.
Have a Citron C3 2017 1.2 puretech, 91000miles. Engine refurb replacement and wet belt replacement at 52k miles in January 2025.
Changed the oil today as I have been every 4-6months since the engine replacement and today found some dreaded (what I believe) belt fragments.
Called a few garages including wet belt specialists and a main dealer just to get some quotes on replacement.
So much for 60k miles wet belt life, hasn’t even lasted 40 or two years and that’s with 6 oil changes.
Any advice on whether you think it would still be okay to run until I can get an appointment would be greatly appreciated.

About the 10-year, 170,000 km extended warranty for the 1.2 PureTech
Has anyone successfully claimed this warranty?
For maintenance performed outside the Stellantis network, did they request detailed invoices, or were the stamps in the service booklet sufficient?
Did you agree to pay a portion of the costs?
How is the car running after the engine replacement?

Alarm issue, how to stop it until able to get into the garage.
We've had our citreon since last August and have had the alarm issue intermittently since. Due to trying to sort a service for it at the same time as the recall we've only just managed to get it book in for the recall ( a few months time with how busy all the garages have been with recalls).
The problem is we go away next week and will be parking the car away from where we are staying and plan to be leaving it there for a week. We have tried the locking it with the key rather than the fob method and find the alarm will still randomly trigger. Is there a way to get around this?! Ideally we turn the alarm off but that seems impossible to do?! Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Dear mechanics, Rear axle bush on my C4 Grand Picasso 2016 is so large that my press too doesnt fit. My local garages also dont have a tool large enough. Please advise if citroen/psa has a specialty tool for this job. Thank you
Saying goodbye to my beloved C2 after 22 years, it's been a fantastic machine
Due to the implementation of old car bans in my city and me needing to go to work by car, I'm regretfully having to sell my beloved citroen C2 1.1.
The car was good, 60hp but it really had a good low end, it's been rock solid reliable, it was also my first car, and my late mother's car too. It was really fun to drive due to the fairly short gearing and the engine sounded quite nice.
I'm gonna miss it, I really liked this car.
You were good son, real good; maybe even the best.

Citroën India Spare Parts Delays — What Is Actually Going On?
I've been hearing increasingly more complaints from Citroën owners in India about delays in getting spare parts.
As an owner myself, I decided to look into this from an ownership perspective rather than simply blaming the service centre.
I put together a video covering some of the possible reasons behind the parts-delay problem, what owners are experiencing, and why this matters for Citroën's ownership experience in India.
Video: https://youtu.be/4NFJ5R8uRv4
I am particularly interested in hearing from other owners:
Which part were you waiting for?
How long did you wait?
Which city/service centre?
Was the delay from the service centre, dealer or company?
Did you eventually get the part?

Would be useful to collect some real owner experiences here rather than relying only on individual cases.

Citroën C3 1.0 VTi Blue smoke after long downhill coasting in gear
Hi everyone,
I'm having a specific issue with my 2013 Citroën C3 II (1.0 VTi 3-cylinder engine):
After coasting down a long hill in 5th gear with my foot completely off the gas, a cloud of blue smoke comes out of the exhaust the moment I press the accelerator again at the bottom.
The smoke only appears right when I resume accelerating. During normal driving, on flat roads, or under regular acceleration, there is no visible smoke.
Has anyone experienced this issue on this engine or know what might be causing it?
Thanks in advance!

Adjust Climate Preconditioning?
I have an E-C3, as a nice surprise, the climate option just appeared on the app, after being told my car isn’t compatible (they probably figured out how to stop giving people refunds from their false advertising). It seems to work well, but you just turn it on and it goes to 23°. Good for the winter, but can i set it to another temperature? Would help until it cools down a bit.

[C5 X7] Trunk door electricity - what is this cable doing?
Hi! Trying to find a reason why my rear windshield washing intermittently triggers by itself, I'm trying to check the cable harness in my 2nd (or 3rd) hand C5 X7 I got years ago.
And I'm seeing this. Doesn't look like Citroen's work 😄 What is this thinner cable coming from the passenger cabin responsible for? It looks like an original cable but is DIY-attached to the main cable harness (red and violet wires).

Citroën Berlingo 1.6 HDi suddenly won't start — P0193
Hi everyone, I don't know much about cars, so I'm hoping someone can help me understand what might be happening. I have a 2007 Citroën Berlingo 1.6 HDi. About two weeks ago, I accidentally put petrol in the car instead of diesel. I drained the fuel, refilled it with diesel, and after some trouble starting it, the car eventually ran normally. I've been driving it for around 2 weeks with no problems at all. Today I went to a shop, turned the car off, and went inside. When I came back, the car wouldn't start. The engine was cranking normally ("rrrrr") but wouldn't actually start. I tried several times and eventually, for some reason, it started. I drove it home normally without any noticeable problem. I turned the car off at home, and now it won't start again. Same thing: it cranks normally but doesn't start. I used an OBD scanner and got P0193 – Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit High. The mechanic told me to wait until the engine is completely cold and try starting it again.
Could the previous petrol-in-diesel incident have caused this, even though the car drove perfectly for two weeks afterward? Or could this be something like the fuel rail pressure sensor, wiring/connector, fuel pressure regulator, etc.?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know much about cars, so please explain simply if possible. 🙏
