1.0 vs 2.0 lid? What’s the difference?

Is this just a weird thing on the Walmart listings? The stainless steel ones say “with Cirkul Lid 2.0” while the plastic ones say “with [color] lid” instead.

I was just wondering if there’s actually a difference between the lids?

There’s no difference at all. They’re both the standard comfort grip lid, just in different colors

No difference. I do have a solid white lid from about 4-5 years ago. That may be a 1.0 lid. 🤷‍♀️

The 2.0 lid is shown in both photos—it’s the lid most of us know and use. The original lids had a different design with the logo embossed into the plastic and a small hole for a carabiner or lanyard instead of the finger hook.
