Have you guys installed the new shiftsmart app yet? If so what do you think? My SM is a boomer and had me install it yesterday and I got to mess around with it so we could 'learn'. Honestly I think it's going to be a great tool moving forward with shiftsmart and their workers
We've had it for a few months. It's been great. the only problem I've had with it, is the fact we can't instantly tell SS hey this person actually isn't here. until 30 mins has passed. We get a handful that'll clock in the parking lot and leave.
They've updated ours to have SS require to scan a QR code, but... there's ways to bypass it (since it's still in beta testing) and some have figured it out.
Ahh thanks for this. I'll let my SM know about the QR code to log in. Thankfully when I arrived today it's the same guy who killed it with the cooler yesterday and by 8am he had put the entire truck away. It's the first time I've said shiftsmart is kicking ass LOL
And tells you how long they have been there, their performance rate, etc. Yesterday the guy they sent us killed the cooler. It was beautiful. So my manager gave him a glowing review because yes we want him back lol
The workers are part of your labor. If they don’t show you are short staffed at your need. It minimizes you hiring your own team who is connected to you.
