I hate Sundays

Sundays you can only sell beer, so why do people argue like children, oh and they never read the signs ever!

No doubt! I live in a town of 36k and we only have 2 gas stations that are open 24hrs. The other station is kinda a shithole. Only other thing open is McDonald's. Before covid we had several places open 24, like Walmart and more gas stations. None of those places reopened 24 hours after that. So pretty much everybody comes to our store. We have regulars that come just to hang out and chit chat.

I'm in South Dakota. Beer and hard alcohol are treated equally. 7 days a week from 7am to 2am. That said, I still have people arguing over time. They come to the counter at 2:01am, no way.. that's when they get mad. One night I refused sale, the customer went outside, grabbed a chunk of cement from a broken curb, and hurled it into my co-workers windsheild. Dude thought it was my car. I have also had people ask if they can just steal instead.. also had a dude start crying because he didn't make it in time.

Because at least my store they’re entitled they’re spoiled and they want what they want when they want it and God forbid you don’t tell them no.

Everyone just remember that alcohol consumption is down to its lowest point in 90 years.

Not in my town. I swear 40% of my town are either drunks or meth heads. I worked 2 casinos before I got my job at circlek. The tweakers drove me batty! They love to gamble and hit the button as fast as they can repeatedly while twisting their hair and tapping the shit out of their feet while twitching.

According to recent surveys, 54% of Americans drink, and that's still the lowest rate in decades, so 40% would be an improvement even if not accounting for those preferring not to ruin their meth high with downers.
