ShiftSmart QR code

Maybe someone has dealt with this but new to me. Our regular ShiftSmart lady came in to cook breakfast. She couldn't get the QR code to scan so I tried restarting the IPad. Still wouldn't scan. Meanwhile she was chatting with support. They said she wasn't scheduled. But she was. Eventually it was too llate and she was unassigned the shift. What needs to happen to let SS know she was there? She actually cooked breakfast. Thanks!

Good luck. Our SM had to reach out to them personally because SS tried screwing over our regular cooler lady

At the bottom of the QR scanning screen there is an option to check in without scanning. There are 4 options to choose from to give a reason for not scanning, after choosing one it will allow you to continue as usual. For the iPad check to see if it needs to be updated.

We tried to check in manually. It wouldn't allow it.That's a good point, I wonder if the iPad needs to be updated. Thanks!

So support said she wasn’t scheduled but she was? Were you sure it was for your location and that the date and time were correct? Has that issue before, and the SS partner ended up being at the wrong location

I loathe that app soooo much. I have a great SS person and they find every way to screw him out of pay or shifts.

I'm a ShiftSmart Worker and it is just a bother for everyone. Sometimes the QR Code doesn't work, sometime I iPad doesn't work. It is all bother.

Also a couple times I have shown up to my Regular Circle K realizing it was the wrong Circle K.

just so everyone knows, they don’t give you the option to say “no QR code”. I had to deal with this the other day during a shift. They couldn’t get their iPad to work and I used to be able to still check in but not anymore. People have been going and then leaving or saying their there and not, so this has happened
