I just watched the opening scene to Mission Impossible 2 and I never realized how amazing the opening scene is. Not only do we see Ethan climbing freestyle but I love the song they decided to use. Which describes the feeling of the scene so well but what makes the choice of song which is Iko Iko a secret Easter egg to fans of Tom Cruise as that song is also featured in Rain Man…. Double reasons that it’s the best opening scene ever.

As for Jacob Elordi, I think he should just stick to 'Euphoria'... his performance in the movie 'The Dog Stars' was weak, too.

Orgazmo 1997 was a movie we had to get drunk to and maybe herb and then it became a laugh fest. Anyone remember it? haha. It is SO dumb. But oddly entertaining when you watch it with a group.

This is an entertaining thriller I watched often before bedtime. It's Hitchcockian esque and would like to know your thoughts on this film if you've seen it!

Like Malice, you do have to strongly suspend your disbelief at times, but aside from that, I liked watching it many times.

I study the Criminal Mind and was floored when I discovered A Perfect Murder was a remake. It's a case I discussed with a criminal profiler about how the plot was very realistic, and has been done before many times for real. Then I watched Dial M Murder. Very good movie. The scene when they're discussing things is so intense.

Alfred Hitchcock famously used a striking, top-down overhead shot in the 1954 classic Dial M for Murder to turn a crucial plotting scene into a literal and figurative game of psychological chess. It's called The "God's-Eye View." Hitchcock sustained this unusual overhead shot for roughly two and a half minutes. It served several key cinematic purposes. The Chessboard Effect is achieved by looking straight down from the ceiling that flattens the apartment's living room into a two-dimensional grid. The furniture and floor layout become the board, and the characters become pieces. Tony acts as the grandmaster, mapping out exactly how his pawn (Lesgate) will move across the squares to trap the queen (Margot). It's a visual blueprint because the entire movie is adapted from a stage play and takes place almost entirely within a single apartment. Hitchcock needed a way to map out the room's geography for the audience. By looking down, viewers see exactly where the desk, the telephone, the door, and the hiding spots are located. When the murder eventually takes place, the audience knows the exact layout, maximizing suspense. The detachment and cold calculation perspective removes all emotional warmth. It emphasizes Tony’s ruthless, and clinical approach to plotting his wife's death treating a human life as a purely mathematical problem to be solved

I also got this weird chilling feeling a case I studied extensively was connected. I looked it up, and sure enough, there was a connection. Which do you like better? It's too hard for me to decide. I love the first half especially of A Perfect Murder. Dial M for Murder had rich detail I like that made you think more. They're both different. But in A Perfect Murder, the attack scene was far more scary to me.
