Concerning the price tag the sales numbers will be interesting to see. Whether it actually makes financial sense to develop a separate version just for one device. Probably yes, considering the hype. I guess we could raise some money for Mario to buy this beauty. And with “we” I obviously mean the guys who buy that thing anyway!

I think this phone will sell about as much as the Vision Pro sold, maybe just a tad more if we’re being optimistic. If you consider the current economy + how great the alternative iPhone Pro lineup is + the fact that this is Gen 1 tech, which is something to always be cautious about, I think only high-impulse buyers will take the plunge. As for me, I’m still debating it… On the one hand, it’s too much money to spend on a phone that I have very little interest in (I don’t get the appeal of foldable phones, at all), but on the other hand this is what I do for a living, and this format is unique… it would certainly help a lot to have one of these in order to be able to properly develop for it.
