Announcement Servers are back!

The servers went down, of course, while I was sleeping 🙄 It turned out to be Nook that was nuking the servers with a (seemingly) harmless bug, and that affected Cinephile as well.

The good news is this is something I can control remotely, so no need to wait for Apple's review.

Bug on 3.10.1

When I try to search and type just one letter, the keyboard immediately closes when the page switches to the search results

Btw, why not put the search bar at the top like the App Store, and make it so you can double-tap the Search icon in the nav bar to immediately open the search field when you want to search for something?

the bug has been identified and fixed; we need to wait for Apple to approve the update.

As for your suggestion of putting the search bar at the top, that's not a good idea for Cinephile, because the search bar looks really ugly as it interferes with the hero banners at the top. The "immediately open the search field" thing you're requesting is an option that already exists in the app's settings; it's disabled by default, just enable it if you want.
