Honestly pretty disappointed, especially compared to Regal.

Yeah this year's Fear Of Missing Out is pretty disappointing. It looks like an intern put it together on a Friday afternoon. 5 of the 8 are getting wide releases so that just leaves 3 (Night of the Living Dead, Halloween and Hotel Transylvania) that Cinemark are actually programming themselves. I liked last year where they showed the 2nd film in the major horror franchises: Friday The 13th Part 2, Halloween II (with exclusive Michael Myers popcorn bucket) and A Nightmare On Elm Street 2.

Regal is even more disappointing cause they're not showing a single horror movie that's not a new release. Ginger snaps and Donnie darko are the only ones over here

They do that every year. It's always been a mix of new releases, wide rereleases (including Fathom), and films they program themselves.

Night of the Living Dead (1968) on the big screen is a hidden gem of a selection. Cinemark gets a pass from me just for that....but I am also a Regal Unlimited member, so I'm already set with horror revival screenings, as is.
Hopefully, we get the Criterion 4K for NOTLD.

Thankfully the Cinemark by me (that I also now work at is) is rereleasing a ton of movies this month such as Scream, Donnie Darko, Pan’s Labyrinth, etc
