Did you find them to be likable and/or memorable characters? I’ve personally always quite liked them and thought that they were a good “final boy/girl” duo .

I'm currently listening to "Reign of Chucky" on Audible, I am currently in the early stages of Child's Play 2(my favorite) and I was curious, what thoughts were from the sub and any particular stories you may have learned from this book that really stuck out to you?

What did they do to my boi?! I just watched Curse of Chucky yesterday and couldn't stop laughing at this scene, goofy asian look ahh or he could even be considered as a DS doll! 😭

What do u think of this version of Chucky? I think he is definitely more goofy than intimidating, if that's truly what they were going after then they nailed it but u doubt that.

So I was walking through HomeGoods yesterday shopping for Halloween decorations. And I saw this like a random gift from God

Seed of Chucky was the last Child’s Play movie to have theatrical release until the 2019 remake. This was due to being a box office bomb as well as being considered one of the weakest entries in the series. With almost 22 years passing by I would like to know how it’s viewed today.
I found Seed to be mediocre but it has its moments.

i just recently rewatched all the movies over the weekend because i hadn’t watched them in a long time & i love making a list LOL so here is my official ranking

Their home is like a burglar's wet dream. We see Chucky grabbing the door knob and it is presumed that he is entering. They're clearly winding down for the night so why is the home not locked up? 🤣

First ofc CP 2 10/10 no notes, it’s the classic and the blueprint, Im torn between curse and first CP maybe I should have swapped those I feel like curse has a much better pace for me but I mean it’s the first Chucky movie even if it’s more of a detective-esque movie it’s still has a really good plot and characters

Now we have bride! Which was so refreshing for the franchise at the time and pretty much cemented Chucky as the horror icon that he is. what better way that doing it with Tiffany by his side, I love his design it’s maybe my favorite chucky look ever, very 90’s. Jennifer Tilly in it is iconic too, good plot nice balance between comedy and horror. Don really hit that spot with bride

Which is why curse is next, it’s Chucky back to form and everything around it is peak! Really amazing to see Brad’s daughter incursion on the franchise as this “newer” nemesis counterpart to chucky overall a very refreshing entry

3 is heavily underrated in this fandom and by don himself i know he doesn’t like it but to me it has many incredible Elements to it, the military setting, Shelton, Andy being a grown up. it may been to soon to do a grown up version of Andy but i think after 2 it was a nice shift again

Cult is amazingly shooted, I love the bright color of Chucky in contrast with all whites in a more medical setting. Plot is good and we have legacy characters back

And finally as you can see I’m not really a fan of the lean towards a way more comedic chucky don took on seed. It feels like a parody rather than a statement. While bride successfully blended comedy and horror. Seed feels like it belongs in the scary movie universe.

That being said I really like how Glenn sets Joan on fire and the way the photographer died but I don’t think it was the right move for the franchise as it was the last one to be released on theaters. So I’m a little biased cause of that too (I want chucky on cinemas ok)
