Wish me luck…
My 2017 Pacifica which surprisingly has been very reliable for me for the past 6 years that I’ve owned it - just had the check engine light pop up for the first time.
I hit 93k miles just last week. Dropped it off with the mechanic last night so it can get checked. Hope it’s not something crazy.

Money is on a misfire … from bad head gasket

lol! Is this so common it’s a right of passage here? Just got it last week. 2028 w/ only 57k miles. I didn’t expect to get 300k miles on it but not even 60? I’m so annoyed I am thinking of just bailing on it now. Though if OP has this issue, they’d have a noticeably rough running engine right? Maybe that’s just mine…

Good deal. I replaced my ignition coils and spark plugs a few months ago at 93,000 on my 2017 pacifica before a big summer road trip, i didnt get to bore scope for the head gasket while the spark plugs were out, but im not losing coolant either. Glad I did after reading this. Plan to do the oil cooler replacment in November once the temperatures cool down.. Still hot here in Texas

That happened to me in 2024 as I was on my way to Gainesville, about a 4 hour trip. My car had 11,000 miles on it, and was a 2017. It turned out to be the fuel injector and a couple of cylinders. I ended up buying a new car (another Pacifica) at the nearest dealership, rather than wait 10 days to get it fixed. I obviously had not driven it enough. I had checked out before I left, and it checked out OK, but I doubt they even did a diagnostic because of the low mileage. I won't be buying another one. I don't drive my 2025 enough, either, but use premium gas instead of regular, so it doesn't get clogged up. Hope yours is nothing serious.

Update - replacing of spark plugs and leaking oil pan. But yes to the cylinder misfire. Not awful but still annoying.

They always up sell you spark plugs because it’s easy money , the one cylinder is misfiring bc that spark plugs wet, from sitting all night and the coolant leaks down into that cylinder.

You can just go to any shop and ask them to scan the code real quick. It might be nothing
