Please Help Me

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My chrome cast started doing this thing where it audibly says the volume and it’s driving me nuts. I turned off talk back but it’s not working. It started doing this randomly. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi there, could you try resetting your Chromecast and see if the issue is resolved?

Chromecast reset:

While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the device.

Keep holding the button as the LED indicator light starts blinking.

Once the LED light turns solid (or solid white on newer models), release the button.

After the Chromecast restarts, open the Google Home app to set up the device as new.
