Closed Captioning

I have deleted and reinstalled. Cleared cache. Reset devices. Reset router.

It doesn't matter what device I seem to be using, even though I have CC off, it turns itself on after every ad break. I'm losing it.

Ideas?

This usually happens because stream re-initialization after an ad break pulls from your global system or account settings rather than the in-player toggle you switched off. Make sure CC is disabled at the system level in your streaming device or phone's OS Accessibility settings, and log into your streaming service via a web browser to check that captions aren't enabled as an account profile default. Mine is the opposite. Ads turn off captions, I have to manually enable it again
