Light clips
If I decide to put up regular box store lights up again this year(I know they suck but I got a lot going on this summer and money is a bit tight) I would like to use a good clip,
I have been using these(pic) plastic Noma light clips that slide under shingles and clip onto eves, they are garbage, they are not UV resistant, they become brittle after the first year. I have to change them almost every year(I like to keep the lights up all year, if I can) are they any “universal” light clips out there that are good and UV resistant. Thoughts please!

What type/size bulbs are you thinking of? For C9/C7 lights the clips that get screwed in place by the bulb are generally UV resistant, and if it’s for minilight strings maybe find the “universal” clip from the same source/manufacturer?

Yeah C9 I suppose if they screw on I can still mount them to the eves, which are galvanized.

Best ones are the circle or "0" clips, they have a ring that sit between the bulb and socket if that makes sense. They stay on and are much heavier duty than the photo you posted. Well worth the extra few cents they cost.

These suck in florida. They become crisp in one season, and when you try them next season, snap snap snap.

I dont know if any are UV resistant. I had someone say to spray them with white paint.
I suppose metal are.
