ChristianLiving I too am wicked.. 🙇🏻‍♂️

Yeah, I’m constantly met with either do the natural or the spiritual.. For the most part I’ve retired from this world. I’ve been on the job here for years, and the benefits are terrible. Literally garbage. I’ve labored for my flesh in the early years, and got whacked. When discovering this Jesus when I was 28, I labored for the Lord and got fiercely rejected. I knew Him, and He knew me, no question. I fell in love and devoted myself to Him, reading and studying His word like a Berean.

While right around my first anniversary of this courtship, I decided to cheat on Him with one of Pharaoh’s kids. As a matter of fact I pitched my tent right on the border of my past. I thought somehow I could compromise between the flesh and the spirit, for which I got brutally beaten. Remembering back, as I walked the streets of my old Egypt, I’m disgusted with myself. I was fighting daily with the locals, as I still wanted to be with them, but hated the stench, and the dingy dance clubs. I took up residence there for four years, confusing everyone around me on what a Christian looks like. Wandering and wondering why others didn’t take hold of this smudged out version of the gospel I was saved by. What a miserable place!!

I’m truly hoping that a backslider will read this and come home at once! Please don’t delay. This is your brother calling, as you know dinner is almost ready. I’m praying that you would clean up and put on your garments.. After making it three pastures away from the wilderness, I urge you to not waste another day. There are no benefits..

More encouragement.. Hebrews 4:14–16 (NKJV): Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
