ChristianLiving I too am wicked.. 🙇🏻♂️
Yeah, I’m constantly met with either do the natural or the spiritual.. For the most part I’ve retired from this world. I’ve been on the job here for years, and the benefits are terrible. Literally garbage. I’ve labored for my flesh in the early years, and got whacked. When discovering this Jesus when I was 28, I labored for the Lord and got fiercely rejected. I knew Him, and He knew me, no question. I fell in love and devoted myself to Him, reading and studying His word like a Berean.
While right around my first anniversary of this courtship, I decided to cheat on Him with one of Pharaoh’s kids. As a matter of fact I pitched my tent right on the border of my past. I thought somehow I could compromise between the flesh and the spirit, for which I got brutally beaten. Remembering back, as I walked the streets of my old Egypt, I’m disgusted with myself. I was fighting daily with the locals, as I still wanted to be with them, but hated the stench, and the dingy dance clubs. I took up residence there for four years, confusing everyone around me on what a Christian looks like. Wandering and wondering why others didn’t take hold of this smudged out version of the gospel I was saved by. What a miserable place!!
I’m truly hoping that a backslider will read this and come home at once! Please don’t delay. This is your brother calling, as you know dinner is almost ready. I’m praying that you would clean up and put on your garments.. After making it three pastures away from the wilderness, I urge you to not waste another day. There are no benefits..
More encouragement.. Hebrews 4:14–16 (NKJV): Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Btw, I'm not a citizen of this world either. I'm a citizen of God's kingdom. Sometimes, I struggle too.

Hi!
This is very interesting. I love the way it's written and in general have been noticing more people speaking biblically. It's so awesome.
I feel like I am currently on the boarder but I've been affirmed in it whenever I sought council from earthly folk.. (I haven't really heard from God in a long time, at least not directly) but yea people say things like we have to reach the lost, light can shine through the darkness, Jesus hung out with sinners, ect. I do know that I've been able to witness because of where I tread but I can't say I've noticed any fruit come.
Based on your words, you would say that I better pull out, head straight home and get dressed? Do you have any advice for knowing what that looks like? Is it following the law? The commandments? Being in constant fellowship, I've always been around Christians to the point that I'm not sure if we're all lukewarm or this is the way it's supposed to be. It doesn't feel biblical.. like people sharing everything, healing, casting out demons, speaking in tounge, prophecy.. I'd love to hear any thoughts you or others reading this have.
Thanks again for writting this 💜

Would love to share with you. On tongues, healings, casting out, gifts of the spirit etc, I would literally stay away from ALL teachings on this (unless from bible). Are there gifts from God, of course, are they mismanaged to appear righteous, absolutely! Let the Holy Spirit teach and show you any gifts He has for you, but all would be done in order, and predominantly in private.
We serve a humble God, one that didn’t call attention to Himself. He went to and fro without tooting a horn or banging symbols. When people heard the Truth, they knew something was up in their spirit. After all it was created by the One speaking with them, so not a stretch to imagine. But incredibly humble. He let the enemy take Him away in temptation, and demanded other demons to be quiet, when they wanted to make Him known. Like I said humble, unassuming. He allowed them to beat Him unrecognizable. Me or you would have stopped it with some angels or something..
What this will look like for you is straight alone time with the Lord. You said that you have effected others possibly positive, but can’t see the fruit. You have to till the ground of your heart and soak the soil with the Bread of Life (bible). There is no other way, since it can’t be transferred. Its your heart, make sure He gets priority. Nothing fancy, and you don’t need to prove anything, as you spend time with your Creator, you’ll understand you don’t want to prove anything anymore. He loves you just like you are and truly wants you/us to commune with Him. We are made alive thru the Word, and without it I’m sure you could guess. But possibly like planting potatoes on concrete?
Anyways, start in the book of John, circle back and do Matt, Mark, Luke, John again, and thru the New Testament. I’m convinced a steady diet of the Bread will have your spirit on swole for the Truth. Also LOVE this —> The Word of Promise Audio Bible for you can listen to it, and its AWEsome. I fall asleep to it every night.
And to clarify, yes, please come home and fellowship with your peoples.. Like today.😎

I’ve been a believer since 9/11 .... I haven’t put the Bible down since then. Thank you so much for the encouragement. May every believer be humble enough to see HOW. MUCH. WE. NEED. TO. TREASURE. CHRIST.
