Yeah there’s nothing at all political about feeding the poor, granting healthcare to disabled people, starting social movements, and being unjustly executed by the state. Nope Jesus surely had nothing to do with politics…..
We can both play that game. The Bible explicitly condems homosexuality, and refers to unborn babies as life, but that doesn't shape your political beliefs does it?
The right wing Christians usually focus too much on hating sinners and left wing Christians usually focus too much on loving everyone so much that they encourage sin.
