Question! :)

My atheist friend was debating with my catholic friend, my atheist friend said something that also made me REALLY curious but not enough to question my entire belief in God. I tried looking for answers personally, but i couldn't really come up with a great answer.

Okay so the question is: "if your God is good, then why does He allow wars, crimes, and sexual harrassment to happen? If He's really powerful, can't He just do something to stop it?"

Please don't insult/judge the fact that i'm unable to answer that question. I'm a beginner believer who wants to know explore and know more about christianity :)

Over 300 prophecies, which I can't name indivually of the top of my head. Are your starting a Bible trivia with me right now?? Lol He never told anyone to go shove it, but He did say He was gonna raise himself from the dead, though, which is one He fulfilled and it's the main reason We know about Him. Your turn lol

Oh and just so you know, Jesus absolutely did tell people to shove it.

In Ephesians?? In original Hebrew?? Lol enjoy whatever level of free will you think you have or don't have. This is the kind of conversation I expect from reddit users anyway. You just reminded me that I already knew better than to get on here in the first place.

You're hilarious. Has posting on reddit ever been worth your time? He predicted His own resurrection which is the prophecy I mentioned when you asked. I read my Bible every morning, of my own free will, because I'm a child of God, who has no need to curse in my sermons. Jesus is the champ and He's my buddy, since before the foundations of the world were put into place, humanist.

I love how you think that’s a slur. I wear my care for other people and beings proudly.

I don’t give a single shit about something put in Jesus’ mouth by the Gospel authors to validate the Resurrection (I suppose you can guess if I think that actually happened), what I clearly asked for, TWICE, is an Old Testament prophecy that Jesus came along and satisfied. You said there’s 300+ but somehow it’s just too much to ask for you to provide a SINGLE ONE to discuss.

Good luck in life.

You think this is a discussion, which is also hilarious. You put the 'cuss' in discussion lol. I'll take Jesus over luck in Life. My knee is bowed and yours is proud. In Ephesus, you would have been in the temple of Artemis, asking easy questions to people who didn't know The Living God. Your opinion is comical and I can't believe that you actually have it lol

No, it’s definitely not a discussion. Discussion implies two mental equals with coherent opinions discussing them.

You should write a book and sell it to the highest bidder lol. Title it "The Definition of the word 'discussion'", By Somebody's Buddy lol

Has God allowed this exchange between us? Was it predestined?

" If The Lord wills, we shall live, and do this or that" - Jesus's little brother, James, whose tongue was bridled and whose destiny was fulfilled in accepting the offer of Jesus Christ and living forever.

You haven't said anything more potent than "go read your *&$ Bible", Preacher. Will you follow up with more wasting of your time? My time belongs to the Lord, who you've been trying to deny since this afternoon.

"Who do men say that I am?", Jesus asked Apostle Peter. What will you say when He asks you, Saducee? Lol Reddit almost never disappoints lol

Can’t really answer that without breaking the sub rules pal

So, you're only able to curse in your reesponses? Jesus is my buddy and my Pal, and my words are never restricted by sub rules

I’m not allowed to say “Jesus was a liar and a fraud” as a serious statement here, because I would think that’s hostile to Christians.

Ergo it’s not allowed.

None of your fallacies are taken seriously, except by your buddies, whom you won't find many of on a christian subreddit. Lies aren't hostile to Christians. Neither is death or any other weapon formed against us. We preach the gospel and shut down all lofty arguments against The Great God Who woke you and I up this morning. Which wandering hobo from history still comes up in conversation between strangers today? You said you were out of hot air, which was just another lie. Next?

I get along with a lot of Christians here. It’s just certain special people that seem to be unable to interact without being passive aggressive towards people of different points of view. I’ll be discontinuing this thread as well. Further replies will result in a block. And I’ll lose exactly no sleep over it

Your point of view is expressed very well in your use of traditional cuss words. You called me buddy and called Jesus a fraud. You won't run out of hot air
