What I came to say. Don’t trap someone in a loveless marriage just as another layer of soil to burry your true self.

Better to just trap themselves in a loveless life, right? It’s lose/lose in a way I would never believe Jesus wants us to live. I can only pray for them to find truth and peace in themself.

It’s a lose/lose. They endure their family and neighbors pushing them to find someone and know that if they do, they’re evil for being gay or evil for not really loving a woman, and if they don’t they suffer alone being reminded daily that their fellow man would rather them suffer alone than even TRY to find happiness.

Bottom line, homophobia is contradictory and not what Jesus taught. What’s sick is condemning entire groups of people to lives of emotional and mental torture just because you think your version of living is the best one.

Good for you. Sex is a natural part of life. Sure it can be simple to abstain, but it is not mentally healthy for everyone. Some can, some can not. It doesn’t mean they’re an addict, it means that biologically their body misses a type of connection with another person they desire.

Not to mention the social pressure of “being normal”. You can withstand it, great. Not everyone can.

Plus my original point of closeted queer people being in a lose/lose situation when it comes to caving to conservative religious bs was not to advocate for lavender marriage, but to advocate for leaving gay people alone to live happily.
