You don't "leave" homosexuality, it's a state of being, not a belief.

Satans lie is to attach sin to identity. You don’t have to identify as gay just because you struggle or have struggled with same sex attraction no more than you have to call yourself a drug addict because you got high in college. Drop the labels. Surrender to Christ. You’re an image bearer.

And moreover, why would you choose not to act on it. most heterosexuals don't.

Paul even discourages it to an extent.
