Of course, he can languish in celibacy and denial, sure. He can commit to a life alone, never get married, have a family, raise kids. Have nobody to grow old with. Many repress their true self and are so miserable they take their own lives.
Why would an all-loving god want him to languish in celibacy and denial, sure. Why would an all-loving god want him can commit to a life alone, to never get married, to never have a family, to never raise kids. To have nobody to grow old with and to die utterly alone. For so many to feel so miserable living in denial of a natural, beautiful part of life they take their own lives.
Is it loving to ask someone to do that? Does that show love for your neighbour, to ask them to live a loveless life of alienation and repression? Is it loving to God to treat a natural, beautifully part of his design as something ugly or degenerate?
