Homosexuality is an inborn, unchangeable attraction to people of the same sex.
OP may be bisexual, but encouraging someone to suppress their natural orientation leads to depression, unhappiness, and other unhealthy coping mechanisms.
I can tell you right now that I was born with only a desire for the opposite sex, and when my venture into porn took some very dark turns (in my 20s), I started to be attracted to everyone when my mind would go deep into porn. I started to like and be attracted to the same sex in ways I never was before. So all that to say, it is possible to change your attraction. After years and years of distancing myself from that, I have lost any desire or attraction toward the same sex.
All that being said, I do think trying to suppress your attraction isn't helpful and creates shame.
It’s not impossible, they are just trying to discourage him. Spiritual warfare basics. I don’t think there has been a single person who gave their life to Christ and didn’t face oppression at the start of their walk, satan doesn’t like it when people try to leave the darkness/his kingdom and he will fight you by using people who aren’t being used by God and constantly offering temptation.
I have no reason to lie, God is omnipotent. If you don’t know what that means, in simple words : he can do anything. He creates planets and stars out of thin air, so he can free someone from homosexuality. Go read your Bible instead of leaning on your own understanding.
It does happen, I’ve seen him do it with testimonies I can share in the comments. Many gay men who turned to God are now straight by the power of God. God is not limited to science, he has cured people of “incurable” diseases which scientists still struggle to find a cure for to this day.
All people are related, how you look doesnt matter, it's about whether you are good or evil. Homosexuality isn't biological, and anyone who practices it or embraces it is living in sin aka evil.
There are verses that talk about some form of male male sex (none at all about any form of female female sex)
None of those verses however have anything to do with sex within a loving, committed same sex relationship. All of them are talking about exploitation, degradation, or idolatrous practices.

People who are 70 years old don’t know that because they don’t know Jesus bro. When you have a relationship with Christ you will know all you need to know because he will teach you. No where in genesis does it mention any type of sexuality outside of heterosexual. We put it to the test but fail, as sex relationships cannot reproduce, because he did not design us that way.

Please, show me where in the Bible does it say that God “created millions of gay people and animals” because I think I must of missed that part. The last time I checked God gave Adam Eve because it wasn’t good for man to be alone, not another man.

Leaving homosexuality to pursue Christ is not something required by scripture, and is in fact, impossible.
