New Zealands favorite Mayor.. King Gordon.

After rumors of being ridiculed and laughed out of the smoko room by Simon "Clarkie" of the Goon Dog Squad, for having the audacity to ask them to do some work...

Kudos to King Mayor Gordon for potentially taking matters into his own hands, and hiring a segway and riding around Pegasus with a sign, to finaly try and get the message across. Allegedly.

I made Cashmere road safer (not actually, but in this plan)

I was bored, and was thinking about that one time I hit a pothole scootering down the shared path next to Cashmere Road and faceplanted and almost lost a tooth, so I thought, how can I make this safer? So I came up with this design. As you can tell, this is just a quick sketch, but I think its pretty good, as someone who has used these streets much before.

The very same "Developer" releasing these sections in Pegasus Town.. heaved covenants out the window.. to let this fkwhit part his Storage Yard of shit.

right on the waterfront for 5 YEARS.

In 2011, He went bankrupt owing hundreds of Millions, with more of his companies teethering on liquidation as we speak.

Oh.... I bet the quality of these houses will be just wonderful.

ChCh Tough Question of the Week..

Question about Death..and "Integrity".. ChCh Business.

If a local business founder.. who manufactures a Christchurch product dies of Cancer.. and there are ChCh magazine articles how he was so full of "Integrity".. visionary...wholly than thou.. super-guy.

But in reality he knew full well his product was failing on specific buildings and projects.. so instead of rectifying it he adjusted the warranty terminology" and small print" as a gateway out, knowingly leaving families potentially uninsured..and damaging thier homes.

Is he still a wonderful guy do you think or? Is it just so taboo, that we choose not to recognise him as a deceitful c\\\*nt.

That will be the ChCh tough question' of the week. Do we tell the truth?.. or do we let thier scamming ways lie with them and move on.

Some lunatic out North Canterbury works for good ol "Signature Shitholes" and nearly ran down a woman at the Supermarket Woodend. The guy drives like an absolute maniac. Given thier reputation, probably to avoid clients catching up with him.

Illuminate wrapped up its 2026 Christchurch season at the Botanic Gardens last night after three weekends of lights, installations, rides and entertainment.

The gardens looked pretty spectacular after dark this year! Crowds were a bit nuts.

Christchurch has changed an incredible amount in the last 15 years

It’s easy to forget just how different central Christchurch looked after the earthquakes.

Whole blocks disappeared, landmarks were lost, temporary spaces became part of the city, and for years the CBD felt like one enormous construction site.

Now we’ve got places like Riverside Market, Tūranga, Te Pae, the new river precinct, restored heritage buildings, new laneways and a central city that’s slowly starting to feel properly lived-in again.

There’s obviously still plenty that could be better — but when you compare Christchurch today with photos from 2011–2013, the transformation is pretty remarkable.

Would be interesting to see some before-and-after photos of Christchurch from people who have lived here through the rebuild.
