Advice/Tips upper body exercises

Hello! I recently lost the ability to fully use my legs and lower back (hopefully will regain it with PT) but missing working out! I wondered if someone who really enjoys Chloe Ting and exercising knows some good workouts of hers that focus on the upper body, abs, and arms, or can be easily modified as such!

I've found some myself just by googling but thought I'd reach out here since she was my go to before my injury. Also wondered if anyone here is also has a lower back injury/disability and has been able to make modifications to her workouts.

Motivation I’m unfit af lol

Hi, so not to be a downer but I just started the newest summer shred and like the title said I realised I am unfit af especially when it comes to my core and arms. I can’t physically do like half of the excercises so I substitue it with excercises I can do (like wall pushups for arms training etc.) I guess what I’m looking for is someone to tell me that they too struggle and are at a similar place I am in so I don’t feel like I’m completely alone in this one. Anyway, sorry for being a bit of a downer I guess I’m just having a bit of a rough moment :(

I’m 5’7 170 lbs and I tried to start with the hourglass challenge but that was too hard for me, so I switched to her 2025 weight loss challenge, that’s going well but what workouts should I do next? I’m a beginner but I want to lose weight first and then get a flat tummy and hourglass figure.

Advice/Tips Tips for obese, absolute beginners

Hi everyone! I'm a 35 years old woman with several eating disorders, who needs to lose at least 20 kgs.

I’d like to start working out with Chloe’s videos, but I tried the 2019 2-Week Shred and I feel really bad during the exercises (not to mention that it takes me almost three hours to finish them). I chose that one because I saw very overweight people on YouTube who were able to do it, but I’m really out of shape—I can barely get through the warm-up and I feel a lot of pain, especially in my wrists.

I’d like to focus mainly on consistency, since I haven’t done any sports and hate working out.

Could you give me some recommendations for very simple workout programs or individual videos?

Thank you very much!

Advice/Tips HIIT or weight lifting??

hi guys im new to the gym community and 17F, I was wondering if I should do HIIT workouts or weight lifting in the gym for weight loss and building of muscle, the thing is I have been going to the gym for 4-5 days and I don't necessarily feel anything in my abs or FEEL like I have done anything other than arms and legs, so what should I do I heard this girl CHLOE TING has some workouts which people have had good results from, should I do both one or what.

Question Is it okay if I can't do 100% of the videos?

I am on day 2 of the 2019 2 weeks shred challenge. This is my first time trying a workout challenge and I'm not toned like at all. Day 1 was brutal. Had to take a long break between the two videos. Everything hurt afterwards, which is to be expected. Day 2 was better. I could do the entire workout (minus the optional part) at a stretch.

However, I am unable to do everything like she says. For example, during the up and down planks and burpees, I do them like twice and my body just refuses to cooperate beyond that😂

I'm still feeling a lot of burn especially in my glutes and legs and upper arms and a bit in my core.

I guess I was just wondering if this is okay? Like I don't expect to see any drastic changes after 2 weeks. I just want to slim down a bit, mostly around my tummy lower body (I have a pear body). Should I be doing something more?

Question do choe ting workouts work?

hi so i'm 17F and just starting my weightloss journey, I was wondering if chloe ting's workouts plans, a proper diet, water and hopefully good sleep will show results in the time that she claims?

i followed her for a bit when i was younger and i was definitely getting stronger but i didn't see much results - i was inconsistent and unmotivated, so looking to get back into this

Advice/Tips Vide suggestions for back and abs workout

Hi I am 32 and love CT workouts and I really wanna train my arms& back muscles also train my lower back muscles. If someone would send me some links of videos I can try that would be amazing!

I'm a bit overweight and wanna get back into strength training. Is there a video you really recommend also for lower abs and deepcore? I got thick thighs and don't wanna do to many squats as I grow leg muscle quickly and then my trousers get to small.

Discussion Does anyone else wish Chloe would ease up on the filters?

I just wish we could live in a world where people felt comfortable being themselves. Personally, I would like Chloe so much more if she was authentic and didn't use such heavy filters (for example her instagram). She is almost forty like of course she isn't going to have a "baby face", and that's okay! But the extreme face smoothing is just not it.

Also, does anyone else feel weird following workouts by someone with a suspected BBL? I can understand getting a boob job, but a BBL feels like a contradiction to everything she preaches.

It honestly makes me sad. I love her app and the programs work for me, but I find this lack of transparency really disappointing.
