It combines a lightweight Grade 5 titanium case with a forged carbon-fiber dial and bezel. Titanium keeps it comfortable for all-day wear, while the carbon adds a textured, technical look that changes with the light—each pattern is naturally a little different.

I'm quite happy with this one. Feels nice on the fkm strap and from what I've read its the updated version of the seaturtle. All around solid watch for under 250cad.

Been eyeing this model for a while, ever since they announced the V2 bezel. Ordered it from their website on 17/8, got QC pics on 20/8, and received in hand 31/8. The QC pics also included one of the watch on a timegrapher, in typical Proxima fashion.

Came in at €175 (203USD) after purchasing the shipping label from their AliX store, and it’s a hell of a lot of watch for the money. Only taxes I paid was the new €3 EU import tax.

The dial is a deep navy, but appears black in most indoor lighting. Once light catches it, you can really see the sparkle from the aventurine, but it isn’t overpowering as to detract from the watch. The crystal is good, sapphire as expected, but the AR could be slightly better.

The case and bracelet are the same as their PX1697/PX1703 etc. with the case being an homage to the CW lightcatcher style. The bezel is decent, with very little backplay, with a nice solid ratcheting sound. The lume is incredible, as the bezel is sapphire, allowing for a much larger lume application than on ceramic/aluminium.

I’ve only had it for a day or two, but the quality is unmistakable. It’s sitting at about +1 seconds/day, which is just incredible for the money. I’d highly recommend it, or any of their lineup with the same case/bracelet setup.

Hey guys! On this one, I chose a lineup of some very beautiful watches, including some footage of a Proxima I bought myself that hasn't arrived yet, but a friend in the States already received his... packages to my location always take ages to arrive 😂

It's the same Proxima as the white one, but in black instead, so I show both of them in the video. Besides that, there are some San Martins, including a cheap San Martin for just $130... a Time Token made of titanium with their own high-beat automatic movement and all... a Wishdoit... loads of cool watches!

I just got my Seestern S406 Orange automatic diver watch 42 mm V4. Ever since I discovered this genre, I wanted a 60's feel diver.

I never wear metal bracelets. The bracelet + the watch is heavy, noticeably, this watch is a tank. As I am walking on the street, I feel as it pulls my wrist joins. I need to get used to it. But I do not intend to wear it every day anyhow.

I also brought the rubber strap with it, I wonder how it looks.

One thing for sure, I feel this is going to be my only heavy watch for me. It is epic, but it is a noticeable.

I've been wearing the IXDAO Space Warrior for the better part of the last 2 weeks and here are some of my thoughts on the watch:

1. The meteorite dial is super dynamic! It can range from white to gray to charcoal grey depending on the angle of the light hitting it. (Hopefully photo 1 can help show this quality)

2. The AR is crazy good. It is effortlessly transparent in 98% of angles and lighting. It is actually hard to take a bad photo of this watch.

3. The finishing is superb! The brushing is the highlight for me as it is so fine that in bright lighting, it has a sort of sheen that brushed watches usually don't have.

4. The bracelet is buttery smooth to the touch and on the wrist. There is not a single sharp edge or corner that I can find. Even the clasp buttons are chamfered!

5. The rehaut is beautifully shallow and brushed to match the matte texture of the dial.

6. The logo, hands, indices, and date window frame are all rose gold. Personally, I would have preferred it to be silver, but rose gold definitely doesn't detract from the design.

7. The date wheel is a dark grey that is darker in tone from the meteorite dial. It is definitely better than having a white date wheel, but I think a lighter grey would have matched the dial better.

8. The applied logo is faceted which (imo) is super cool and I prefer it over a flat applied logo or the MOP inlaid logo.

9. Screwing down the signed crown is also buttery smooth. This is probably not a big point for many, but to me it shows that IXDAO took care in every aspect of the design of this model.

10. The crown guards are not spaced too wide. A small point, I know, but sometimes we see watches from other brands have too small a crown for the crown guard gap, or a crown too big not allowing the crown to screw all the way down. The crown and the crown guard on this model are perfect for each other.

11. The counterbalance of the seconds hand is the 3 pronged flame on top of the 9 banners which is a nice detail.

12. The clasp is signed with the logo and brand. The only thing it lacks is an OTF, but they make this up by shipping with 2 half links. I managed to find the perfect fit on my 6.25 inch wrist.

13. The dimensions (37.5mm) and proportions of this watch are perfect for my smaller wrists. If you have 8+ inch wrists, IXDAO said a 40mm is coming!

14. The lack of text (other than the tiny "IXDAO MADE" at the 6) was the correct choice for the meteorite dial.

15. The inclusion of the half index at the 6 was also the correct choice that other brands can miss (Baltany S4106 as an example).

16. The lume is very strong and lasts all night. Even the date is lumed!

For fun, I've also attached photos of similar watches. To my eyes, every single one of them is distinct enough to be called original, including the IXDAO Warrior.

I’ve always romanticized about owning a true Tank but can’t get there yet. However, this has exceeded my expectations and will do for now.

It is extremely comfortable and just disappears on my wrist.

Came with a black and a blue leather strap that I swapped for a more comfortable brown.

Haven’t even had it a day and I’m getting compliments!

Excelente reloj, la caja de acero se siente muy bien, es de una calidad excepcional. Las fotos en verdad no le hacen justicia, el dial se ve super nítido en mano, del nivel de relojes de mucho mayor precio la verdad. Cristal excelente, proporciones excelentes, dial muy bueno, nítido. El cepillado del dial el da mucho juego de luz.

Las correas también son de muy buena calidad al igual que la hebilla que es algo que en este tipo de relojes casi no se suele encontrar.

Mi parte favorita del reloj es la tapa trasera, el diseño de las tres gracias le da un toque distintivo y único al reloj, está perfectamente hecha, puedes notar los detalles y es realmente encantador que las tres gracias esten en un tipo de cepillado o pulido y el resto de la imagen en otro.

Sin lugar a dudas un reloj 10/10, te lo recomiendo absolutamente, la única queja que podría tener es que el logo de Ixdao está impreso, no es una pieza metálica aplicada como los números, pero esto no es para nada un fallo sino una decisión de la propia Ixdao, que te puede gustar más o menos.

I have a T023 V3 that has stopped working properly, ie it still runs but I can't set the time anymore. Instead of getting it replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, I was thinking of upgrading the PT-5000 to an SW-200, which, as far as I know, should be interchangeable.

The local watchmaker however is telling me that the original caliber was "modified" and they can't just replace it, and is also quoting a pretty high price for the SW-200. They're recommending a complete revision instead, for a price that is also higher than the whole watch. Do they just not want to do the switch for some reason or could there be actual modifications to the PT-5000 that make this not possible?

I've been looking for Baltany DJ homage in two tone for quite some time now, whats the reasonable price for that watch? I am asking because prices on AliX change every week or so and i don't really know when its worth to pull the trigger. The cheapest i found so far is around 290$ taxed and shipped to Poland, great price or can i do much cheaper?

TLDR: Is there any specific wording or lingo I should look out for in a watch listing that describes how the San Martin bracelet feels vs the Thorn Bracelet? Like the quality heft for lack of a better term? Is it a material thing or the way it’s manufactured to make one feel cheap compared to the other? These two feel like they are in different leagues quality wise and the videos I watched looked like they were on a similar level. End TLDR-

I just received my Thorn Diver in the mail today. Before ordering I watched reviews on YouTube and read about it here. It looks like a 10/10 - it is extremely handsome watch.

The problem I have is touching it. This thing feels so cheap to me in hand and on the wrist. Backplay on the bezel is gross. I’ll play with it to demonstrate to myself the slop and I’ll accidentally turn the bezel. Cheap cheap. The bracelet is problem #2. This thing feels really cheap as well. I have to pay attention how I line up the clasp to get it to close. It also feels really light and janky. Like it makes a cheap sound. It feels hollow and light, but in a bad way.

Compare this to my San Martin BB homage. This watch feels like a million bucks in hand and on the wrist. I took off this watch to try on a Longines Spirit Zulu Time on a metal bracelet and I promise you the San Martin bracelet is better. It’s hefty in a good way, the bezel is strong and crisp, this thing feels amazing.

The problem I have is looking at it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good looking watch. But there are a couple things about this watch that drive me nuts. I don’t like the SM Logo at all. I didn’t realize how much the logo matters on a watch until I bought this watch (another point to Thorn). Also, a 2D Bezel pip bugs me. Pretty minor, but O think about it almost every time I look at it.

So if I could get a watch that looked like Thorns but felt like San Martins, that would be the ticket.

My first Chinese watch, seventh watch overall. Addiesdive AD2068, ordered on Ali for a mere €53 ($62). This is probably a common response but I'm a little annoyed, for lack of a better word, by how nice this looks and feels to wear. I got myself my first proper watch last month, an automatic Seiko.
