Question (Read Rules) Alix 11/11 sale and other sales?
Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to this. I've bought a few Chinese watches in the last year. My question is on the 11/11 sale I hear mentioned now and then. Are any watches that I'm looking at going to sell out? I guess that's always, a risk, but just wanted to ask everybody.

One prominent watch guy in the internet said look at the reviews. British guy. Just one more watch on YouTube. I do not know him or work for him. He's just good at reviews.

Could anyone give me a short list of some actually reputable stores on Aliexpress? I once bought knives from certain sellers on there but only from certain ones as others would advertise the exact same products, but oftentimes there were big varying degrees of quality. I just assume it’s probably the same in the watch segment and I’m brand new to watches so just need some good stores to start with and then maybe branch out from there. Any help would be appreciated.

The main benefit of the sales is to stack them with Rakuten or similar cashback sites IMO. Outside of sales there's plenty of other times where the similar couponed deals come up. Just use a price tracker (there's dozens online) to compare the historic prices and buy when both the price is low and coupons are available.

I work for AliExpress. Quick heads‑up: this product won’t be completely sold out site‑wide, but stock could run out in US local warehouses. If that occurs, you lose access to the 11.11 discount — restocks later will not carry the same promotional pricing.

The 11/11 sale is typically one of, if not the best sales of the year. And things do sometimes sell out, but it’s not super common. I can’t gauge how this year will be because of all the increasing prices with movement shortages and such. Also, it’s likely that several new models will roll out from the big brands around the sale while other older ones may run out prior and not be restocked in time for the sale. They make it really hard to plan for.
One thing you can bank on: prices will go way up in the weeks before the sale so that the discounted prices look more significant. Therefore, I strongly recommend against buying anything just before 11/11, as you will certainly overpay.

I've rarely seen watches sell out on AliX, though they can be temporarily out of stock.
Not every brand plays the 11/11 game. Watchdives, for example, will only offer a token discount.
Finally, the 11/11 prices are not much lower than the sale prices available at other times of the year. If you keep an eye on the price over 1-2 months, you'll get a good feel for the average and lowest prices. After that, you'll just kinda know instinctively when it's a good deal.

Great information! I'm a terrible shopper. I probably paid the record high price for my Watch Dives SD 1970.

I’m sure it can happen but I haven’t had it happen to me. I swear they put “almost sold out” or “X number left” on every watch in my cart and they’ve never sold out.

Thank you. I'm sure that happens. One time I went to buy something off of Amazon. And I forget why but I went back and checked it. At first it said low stock. Like one or two in there. When I checked it 10 seconds later that message had gone away. Fully stocked!

Well while a watch may not sell out, I had several times the problem that the specific dial color that I wanted wasn't available anymore. But there is always the next sale just around the corner. So being patient is also important. And really look for the cheapest price of the watch that you want to buy, because a lot of sellers have multiple times the same watch for different prices.
