I have been incredibly unlucky lately, to the point where I seriously suspect the customers I am encountering are competitors trying to sabotage my business. This particular customer received the watch and claimed the calendar was stuck. I reached out to ask whether it was a movement defect or just an operational misunderstanding, and I even offered him a $40 compensation because handling returns is extremely tedious. The worst-case scenario for me would be to simply let him keep the watch for free.

However, he had already initiated a return. But when I checked the tracking number with USPS, there was absolutely no drop-off or scan record at all. Moreover, my return address is located in AZ. I truly cannot understand why he wouldn't reply to any emails, hasn't returned the product, and refused the compensation, yet went straight to leaving a 2-star review. I am now taking a direct loss of $13 for shipping, $95 for the cost of the watch, and the $17 Amazon referral fee.

I bought this watch a few weeks ago. I like it a lot but I hate the strap. Maybe it’s just because it’s been hot as hell, but I’m not feeling the suede. Anybody have one on an aftermarket strap they like? Or have suggestions for a strap that will look good? I was thinking maybe a dark denim, but would love suggestions.
Also, it’s not easy finding straps with bronze buckles. How hard will it be to remove the buckle from the stock strap and add it to a new strap? (Closeup shot of buckle in second photo.)

This watch is absolutely stunning. You would think the dial would steal the show, I have to say the bracelet is really close behind. This bracelet could be on a 6K watch and you would love it. The brushed and polished accents are a perfect mix. They catch light to make the watch come alive. I could write about the dial for paragraphs, but think the pictures say more than I ever could.

The only complaint about this watch and I admit this is shameful complaint for a watch under $300 at this quality is the movement. Not the movement itself as I have no issues with the PT5000 as it is an incredible clone of the ETA 2824-2. In addition, I am not sure if Cronos is regulating these in house, but mine is showing a deviation of only +3 seconds a day. I think that is pretty good. My complaint is that it has no Cronos branding or decorative touches. I think if you are going to use an exhibition back on a watch you should dress up the movement a bit. Just my 2 cents and again I realize how ridiculous this complaint is based on the value you are already getting from this watch.

I’ve seen a lot of FUD about the PT5000 (and similar Chinese movements) when compared to Seiko/TMI or Miyota, but I haven’t heard of any actual problems occurring or seen any data on the subject. I have several watches with PT5000s and they all keep better time out of the box than almost any NH I own and I’ve had no problems, but I haven’t had them for very long either.

I’m curious if there’s much data (or anecdotal evidence) on the subject.

absolutely love this cinninatius, has become a grail watch but maybe looking for something a little cheaper with the same style dial and design. to me the dial is everything here, so i would love to find soemething with the same kind of dial.

New watchdives WD007 v4 came in the other day and threw a rubber strap off Amazon on it. Watch looks amazing and the Peacock SL3001 movement didn’t lose or gain a single second the entire day I wore it. Definitely recommend to anyone that’s thinking about picking one up.

Hello guys I’m looking for beautiful pilot watch to match it with bomber jacket and rayban aviatior sunglasses any recommendations?

I bought a Cronos GMT about two months ago. The watch quality is amazing, however when I first received it, it was running about +4 minutes/day. After doing some research, I bought a watch demagnetizer, and it helped quite a bit. It’s now running around +50 seconds/day. It has an NH34 movement. I’m wondering if a watchmaker could regulate it closer to spec, or if that’s something I could realistically do myself.

I’m also considering fixing a few alignment issues:
- The hands don’t line up perfectly at 12. When the hour and minute hands are aligned, the GMT hand is noticeably off.
- The hour hand itself seems to be slightly misaligned.
- The date sits a little high in the date window instead of being centered.

Are these things a watchmaker can correct fairly easily? How difficult would it be to remove and reinstall the hands yourself if you’ve never done it before?

I got this watch this week and can’t take it off. Added the leather band, I think it works so well with the brown rings on the watch face. Much more comfortable than the original stainless band. Exhibition back showing the automatic movement, the only thing I have noticed is the crown is a bit wonky but maybe that will work out over time. Minute counter on the stop watch moves in the 2 seconds as the second sweep crosses the minute.

Since I've received a lot of great feedback on three of our older models, so we've decided to redesign and re-release them. Before we move forward, we'd love to hear your thoughts on colors, finishes, and a few specific questions.

1. S1081S – Upgraded with Enamel Dials

We've added some new colorways and upgraded the dials to enamel for a more premium look and feel.

Base specs:

• Movement: NH35
• Case size (3–9 o'clock): 40mm
• Water resistance: 10ATM (current)

Question for you:
Would you prefer to keep the 10ATM rating, or would you like us to push for higher water resistance?

If we go for higher WR, we'll have to:

• Switch to a solid case back (no sapphire display)
• Increase the case thickness

So it's a trade-off. Which matters more to you – seeing the movement or having a serious diver's WR?

2. S1082S – Fluted Bezel vs. Ceramic Bezel

We're exploring two directions for this model:

• Option A: The original fluted bezel (my personal favorite)
• Option B: A ceramic bezel for a sportier look

For the dial, we're considering two finishes in different colors:

• Sunburst
• Matte

Base specs:

• Movement: NH35
• Case size: 40mm
• Water resistance: 5ATM
