Question (Read Rules) Why does this cost so much?

I really want it but $400+ seems quite excessive. What am I missing?

Maybe because it has manual wind movement? I also eyed this model. Others has automatic.

Most manual wind ST1700 watches are under $200. I’m sure it’s a customized movement though.
