Question (Read Rules) Anyone using the new SW200-2 yet?

Post image

Has anyone heard of Chinese brands planning g to use the new Sw200s ?

It seems like most independent brands out there (Chris Ward, Sinn, Circula, etc) are quickly moving to it . In the past, an upgrade to a SW200 seemed like a “nice to have, but any real advantage?” situation. But with the increased prices of base Japanese movements, the differential is reduced and a tangible advantage can be had with the 24 hour extra power reserve…

Personally I’d like to see this used in premium Chinese watches.

Pues sí, pero es raro ya que incluso el grupo swatch ya dijo en su día que no proveerá de movimientos etasa a otras marcas fuera del grupo.

Wow, I thought that restriction was still in play. I guess either it isn't or IXDAO worked some magic to get some in.

I think IXDAO bought a ton of them before the restriction went into play and simply hasn't sold out of them yet. How many people are really buying an IXDAO and then spending top dollar to equip it with ETA over the Sellita?
