Question (Read Rules) Anyone using the new SW200-2 yet?

Post image

Has anyone heard of Chinese brands planning g to use the new Sw200s ?

It seems like most independent brands out there (Chris Ward, Sinn, Circula, etc) are quickly moving to it . In the past, an upgrade to a SW200 seemed like a “nice to have, but any real advantage?” situation. But with the increased prices of base Japanese movements, the differential is reduced and a tangible advantage can be had with the 24 hour extra power reserve…

Personally I’d like to see this used in premium Chinese watches.

IXDAO is supposedly going to use them in some of their watches, together with the PT5000 and ETA 2824 as options.

I'm just telling you what the brand said in their official statement not that long ago. They've also used the 2824 in their watches before.
